I could be wrong but I want to say that Blue Eye Burger doesn't open until a little later in the spring. It wasn't open when we got down there March 1st last year although I can't remember exactly when it did finally open. I'm a fan as well despite Mr. Babler's less than glowing review a few years back.

According to a fishing buddy, they are Yo-Zuri Max Action crankbaits. Here's a shot of some he has. Not the greatest picture but they look identical to me. Man, those southern fish sure take their sweet time getting it done. Their yankee cousins are in a much bigger hurry. That flippin bite sounds fun. Love the hookset and fight on a short string.
