  1. The go downstream to were they can find, food and refuge. Black River fish seem to head downstream to Clearwater Lake, Fish in the Huzzah & Courtois head down to the Meramec. Fish in the Jacks Fork head down to the Current. They head back up in the spring.
  2. They tend to stop in the deep holes near creek mouths for a time, but they can move 20 miles or more.
  3. They seem to head downstream out of little creeks and headwater sections around the Harvest Moon. That was about 10 days ago. It can be great if you can catch them on the move.
  4. By Cuivre Island. Commuter blind. Hunt till 8am, go to work.
  5. There will be 12" of of water on in a couple weeks. Need to mow first.
  6. Decoys down, panel blinds repaired, blind brushed.
  7. The Ned really shines in the fall when minnows bunch up near wood. Flukes are good if you have to contend with floating leaves, plopper & WTD can work but they are leaf magnets.
  8. I usually drive right past that ditch 6-10 times a year. I would not make it a destination. The trout fishing is not that good.
  9. They only had 6-10 electric spots, and the sites are spaced out pretty well. There is more than one way in there. Lane Spring.pdf
  10. I’m sure it will catch, but that’s a quarter back not a dry wooly worm, full back of sparse hackle crackle back. Wets usually have less hackle angled backward.. you could grease that and wake it for effect, might take some fish eating in the film.
  11. Alone at Riverview access in Cuba, MO on July 5th? The bigfoot claim is more plausible than being alone there on July 5th.
  12. Nice! Inertia guns tend to kick pretty hard. Surprised you did not get a gas gun, Winchester SX4 is pretty nice, so are the Berrettas.
  13. He’s a genuine troll in search of a bridge to live under. I’ve never met him, some folks say they have.
  14. A chiropractor can help with the pain, get you going again, but they can’t fix your broken body. You have to have realistic expectations.
  15. No go tomorrow to get some relief. It might take a few visits to get your spine aligned. A good one does not need to take x-rays or use bs quack machinery. They just do some aggressive manual PT to relax you muscles before they snap crackle pop you back in shape. It will hurt, you will be sore, but will feel better than you did when you walked in, allot better next day.
  16. A good Bone cracker will have you fixed up really quick.
  17. I have a few floating friends that have a texas rigged baby brush hog tied on a spin rig 100% of the time. It's in that magic size range that allows for decent numbers and while weeding out most of the dinks.
  18. I’d have to agree. MF has been indoctrinated with fear, selfishness, and fierce resentments from somewhere. He used to be a kind and sharing person. What happened?
  19. Cut the illegal unmarked stuff out.
  20. The snake road in S. Illinois is worth a visit.
  21. The gays back into parking spaces. Flash their headlights, wave at at you if interested. Don’t engage, and no problems.
  22. If you have or know someone with an OnX subscription you could scout for private ramps and contact those landowners.
  23. You really don’t want to waste your time at the Union Access. It’s usually much better upstream. I used to have a private access near Union at Goode’s Mill dam, fishing can be good there at times but it’s private. Walleye, Big Spotted Bass, wipers mostly. Friend’s Mom died, he died, it got sold. MDC map says Guth’s Mill but it’s Goode’s. Uhlmeyer is a gay cruise spot. They won’t steal your stuff, but might toss your salad.
  24. I’ve rarely had a problem. Get a locking gas cap and if there’s a bunch of homeless addicts camped at the access consider going someplace else, depending on how much traffic it gets. Leave nothing of value in your vehicle. I stand a better chance of getting my truck broken into/stolen in my driveway here in Webster Groves. I catch the crews checking my truck door handle on my camera’s a couple times a year.
  25. It’s gonna take a couple months and some effort on your part to heal up, Guess you got nailed on the Highway of Death down in Hillsborough. You have my sympathy,, it will suck for awhile. I hope your son & other drivers recover quickly too.
