Hi,
Quick question. Motorguide Pro Series 46 lb thrust, 08 model with light to no usage. It only moves the boat in Speed 5 or Rabbit. What could be the problem??

Most likely is a burnt SE module, but it could be the 3 position control switch. You'll have to trace down the voltage path with a voltmeter to be sure.
The "High Bypass" (rabbit) circuit does not run through the SE control module, so typically when you only can operate on HBP it is because of a failed module. I consider that DEATH for a trolling motor because the cost of replacing the SE module is usually more than the unit is worth.
