  1. Genuine concern and well wishes from this side. 🌞
  2. As of right now, 1997 and up parts are available, but it might take 3-6 weeks for delivery. Carb kits and water pump parts are usually in the U.S. but anything else has to come from across the pond.
  3. My favorite penguin joke..... as told by monkees 🙄
  4. No! See, you don't understand...... That's a fly-fishing boat. Fancy seats grab fly line, whereas THAT ONE folds down completely out of the way. And when that bimini is folded down it perfectly covers the battery, fuel tank, anchor area so that piles of randomly stripped fly line don't wander into that area. The black bimini provides the perfect amount of shade when idling the flats in search of nervous water. Alot of thought and consideration went into that little setup. 😁 She'll idle through 10" of water, get on plane in 20" of water, and run on plane through 16" of water. 👍
  5. It has cost me enough this year, that's for sure! Costumes, decor, ect. Good grief ! All of my crew are as festive as it gets. Artistic too...
  6. It's not economical to hunt small game anymore, is it? Over a dollar to shoot a bird with less meat on it than a hotdog has in it. By the time a person gets proficient with a firearm they've already spent enough money to feed themselves for life. 🙄 If I had a dollar for everytime I've squeezed a trigger I could easily retire and buy an RV.

    Boo!

My least favorite "holiday" of all..... but the wife, kids, and dog sure enjoy it 🙄 This bastard lurks in various places...... entirely for MY benefit 😳
  8. Oh God, I'd love to exterminate monkeys!
  9. That's some fine looking dubbing.
  10. If you're in the mood for a project I have a few tiller motors that are in the restoration pile ....... But I just don't have time to get them done. If interested in any of of them AS IS I can sell them pretty reasonably.
  11. It's 35 years old, still running, and you can still get parts for it......So HELL YEAH they are good motors ! I could put 400.00 into restoring it, and I guarantee it will still be running great when the brand new 4-stroke you bought yesterday is in the junk pile. This 1983 35hp is the sweetest running little motor around 👍😊
  12. The first 2 quarts pulled off of a fresh run of moonshine can put LSD to shame......from what I understand. I have very little doubt that those ol'timers saw exactly what they said they did. And IMO those legends should be celebrated every Sunday, just like the biggest of all legends is. 👍
  13. Penguins! 😂
  14. No kidding 🙄 That ain't a "dog". It's a cat that barks.
  15. Silicone, or any other type of adhesive never lasts long on the interior of the hull, and screws are a terrible solution. Connect the hose so that it maintains the desired angle of the pump.....and then secure the HOSE (zip tie) to hold the desired pump position.
  16. Only lazy women do that. 🙄 Truly good ones start baking cookies.
  17. The backstraps and the hams are all I really care about. The rest is just sausage & jerky meat.
  18. Only guys my age will remember the episode where Underdog threw the harpoon between the wires of an electrical sub-station and saved the planet from the wrath of Sinister McGreed. 👍
  19. I suppose that it's natural to put yourself through all those technical complications. Lord knows I've done it. But in the end I guarantee that you'll come to the reality that it didn't result in very many more fish to hand. More times than not, the reason the fish don't take your fly is because your presentation is crap. The angle of your leader/line on the water is usually the reason...... that's why it's called "Angling". 😁
  20. So slap on the appropriate soft hackle and consider yourself prepared. 👍 😊 Very few "dry flys" actually sit above the film. The biggest skunking I can remember was from a guy fishing an Adam's dryfly like a nymph.
  21. Have you ever noticed that when you're in a tree everything sounds like a deer walking, but when on the ground you can easily distinguish the sound of a squirrel or a fox/coyote prancing through the leaves ? I had a badger come in on me once when I was in a tree,...... growling, snorting, and carrying on........ and I honestly thought I was about to have my first bigfoot encounter. My heart was in my throat. Never had seen one before, and haven't seen one since.

    Breakfast

    Oops, forgot the meat! 😁

    Breakfast

    As a matter of fact.....Yes!
  24. Whenever you hear guys talking about fish taking only "emergers"....that's when you know that they've spent more time reading trout fishing literature, than they have actually fished. You'll do yourself a favor if you don't allow all that BS to pollute your brain. 👍
