  1. I'm not, it's up to the judges. Just for the record, because I know someone is gonna say it..... it's impossible to keep their mouth completely closed unless my hand is covering up the fish. I tried tilting the board to keep them slid forward, but that just pisses them off and they start flopping. So since the idea is to get a measurement and get the fish back in the water as quickly as reasonably possible, I think your just gonna have to allow a slightly open mouth on most fish. Just my thoughts though. It's solely up to the judges. 👍
  2. Yeah upper Gravois. Doubt if I leave the back yard, too crowded elsewhere.
  3. Guess I'll open with these 2 just to get things started. I see that I need to be conscious of the glare off of that tag holder thingy when the sun gets low. Those 2, one other squeeker and 5 shorts is all I'm worth tonite. Will try again tomorrow. 😊
  4. Never worked with that stuff....and my carpentry skills suck anyway, but the docks and walkways where that stuff is used for decking always pops, creaks, and snaps loudly when you walk on it.....so I'm guessing if you use that on a front deck then you won't need a doorbell.
  5. You're throwing to brush, don't lie. 🙄
  6. Plain old 2x6's and 2x8's (untreated) and hit it with sealer once completely built. Use treated 4x4's for the supports. Nails suck. Use the green deck screws.
  7. Now there's one you don't want in your yard.
  8. Went right over your head, didn't it?
  9. If a bear tried to eat Ronnie, I have a feeling it would turn out like this....
  10. It's a growed up corn snake from Petco.
  11. Once you go 7' you need to either buy a high-end rod, or put an oversized reel on it to balance it out, as all affordable 7 footers are going to be tip heavy. I mean.... unless you don't mind a tip heavy rig.
  12. The trick I've learned with the G80 is to just turn the front wheels for a second to transfer a little weight. That almost always gets it to lock up, if it hasn't already. Then just coast for 5-6 feet and it will disengage. Not sure why mine locked up then stayed locked for 2-3 miles that one time....but it hasn't done it again. I've worked this truck HARD so I fully expected the rear end lube to be NASTY, but it was as clean as can be and smelled like brand new fresh lube. I'm gonna take a guess that the ones that grenaded were from guys making a right hand turn and then roasting the tires halfway through the turn.
  13. Perfect! Boy your timing couldn't have been better. That's great.
  14. The Whites are about done spawning, LM and Crappie are right in the middle of it, and the big cats are on the move. Water level is on the rise. Nobody that I know is getting skunked right now. Have fun! 😊
  15. Yeah I can only think of a few things that I actually enjoy that don't require some form of seasoning. I even put salt on watermelon.
  16. Awesome 👍 Good job! How was the crowd on that part of the lake?
  17. A crap load of 99-06 GMs came with the G80 locking diff, which work quite well, but have a bad reputation for grenading, since the things shock load every time they engage. I've heard that for years, so when my G80 locked up and hesitated to disengage I panicked. Took it to the shop immediately and had my boy pull the cover and inspect everything. When he pulled the cover I was blown away, because after 216k miles the lube that came out looked as fresh as if it was changed yesterday, and only a tiny bit of metal dust was on the magnet, barely enough to cover my thumb. Everything seemed fine so I told him to get a fresh gasket and fill it back up. I'm at 288k now and it hasn't failed to engage or disengage again.
  18. After all these years I still don't think Ford has figured out how to design a rear diff. I have a slight grade of gravel pulling into my place. Guys come in pulling boats with Chevy's, Dodge's, Toyota's, and Jeeps... and never slip a tire. But EVERY single Ford comes in slinging gravel from the passenger side rear and struggling to get over that little hump. Even the dually's. It's kinda irritating honestly, because I pay for that gravel and I'd kinda like to keep it in my driveway and not out in the middle of Cook Rd. I've contemplated putting a sign up 50' from the driveway that says "Ford owners, please engage 4WD NOW" And of course if you tease them about it you always hear the same line of BS....."IT'S ALL THAT POWER, MAN". What good is power if you can't put it where it belongs....On the ground!
  19. That's DEFINITELY not drywall and vinyl siding approved. And a bit costly.
  20. That's a bit extreme. I think the slightly coarser stuff in the Sea Salt grinders will be about right.....and won't put holes in the drywall. 😅
  21. "Webster and Webster " 😂 You're cut off. Somebody grab his keys and call his wife.
  22. BS, Al. 🙄 When guys like you and me die, we're worm food. And 2 weeks after we're gone, my kids, and your nieces and nephews, will have forgotten that we even existed. So really WGAF? When the "others" are gone, they'll be happily chilling in paradise with Jesus, their parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles. They will be anxious for society to crumble, and the earth to melt down, so that the ones they left behind can come to join them. So WTF are they whining about? For them, the sooner the world melts down the better. Right? Your refusal to allow yourself to live for the moment is a waste of everything you've fought through and accomplished your entire life. So knock it off. This (what you have in front of you) is all there is, and you know that.
  23. That's either a corn snake, or a one eyed trouser snake.
  24. The only thing related to politics that should matter to any of us is HOW WE ARE DOING. I'm doing great, and all of my friends are doing great. Everyone in my 5 county zone seems to be doing great. Therefore whatever the POTUS has been doing....I support it....cuz it's working really good for everyone I know and care about. If your finances and your life sucks right now, and you have friends/family that have been suffering through life for the last 4 years, and it's all Trump's fault.... I'm really Sorry. Suck it up. Seriously though, how's your life? Good? Then maybe quit bitching and get on the Trump train 🤔
