  1. How does a truck driver hauling 50-100+ untagged bass across a state line get around the whole possession limit law thing ? It would suck if he crashed...Bass flopping around on the interstate and getting all road-rashed ect. All individually charged with seatbelt violations.

Good grief! Times have sure changed. WTH has become of Arkansas folk ?

Something to ponder: If you were suddenly (as in overnite) broke and without shelter or motorized transportation, how quickly do you think you could rebound to a comfortable and reasonably debt-free state of living ?
  4. Did they run it on a hose, in a test tank, or actually launch your boat and take it for a ride ? Since it fires back up immediately with no warning horn or power loss I'll assume it isn't an overheat issue. Did they actually test for adequate oil pressure @ WOT or just swap the sensor ? The sensor may be doing its job ! I haven't ran into any oil pressure issues yet but I do know that the 25 is equipped with an oil pressure regulator above the sump on the return side which if partially blocked will REDUCE oil pressure at the sensor port. The actual oil pressure (psi) isn't very much (like 6psi or something like that) so it stands to reason that the sensor would be extremely sensitive. Is the oil level where it is supposed to be on the dipstick ? Some folks fill it to the very top of the crosshatch.....it should be slightly below the extreme top of the crosshatch when cold and the motor in a straight up/down position.
  5. A Lake O trib.
  6. Yeah, let's not forget to investigate that ! Not another word, I promise.
  7. That is some sexy looking water.

Yeah Chief, wake up and take the blue pill !
  9. I wouldn't mind either if you could just show them the yellow slip and be left alone. But they always wanna stand around and chit-chat when the fish are biting and I don't wanna be rude to "a man with a badge" so I just have to stand there while he lingers and endure his boringness. For some reason Authority Figures find me interesting, but the feeling is seldom reciprocal.
  10. I have, quite recently as a matter of fact, and I even one-upped you by a CHUB! Nice specimens BTW, those are some healthy looking fish. Way to go! My trout that day were a tad puny and ragged looking.
  11. Be thankful ! Who the hell wants to be hassled for their "papers" every time they are seen with a fishing rod?

What would the eradication of these scary basturds be worth to ya ? I think I can pull it off peacefully.

If you're truly upset about them eating fish has anyone offered them any FOOD ? My guess is that they'd much rather eat a can of Vienna sausages or Ravioli (.89 cents) or a boloney sandwich (4.00 a dozen) than they would a bass. But that's just a guess.
  14. His hand is probably aching because he is hanging upside down over the transom and the steering cable is pinching an artery in his armpit.

I really-really-Really hate this whole profiling thing where everyone who drives old beat up cars/trucks and/or isn't wearing North face and UA clothing is obviously a "Crackhead". Too many people have become galactically ignorant from propaganda. It reminds me of my dad back when I was a teenager, he KNEW that everyone with long hair was doing acid and sold dope to junior high school kids. He would have never believed that my clean-cut shop teacher was the biggest dope dealer in town.
  16. I like the feeling of relying more on my senses to find fish. I only use a basic LCR on my lake boat and really only use it for navigating shallow flats and finding edges. I have zero electronics on my river boats unless you count my phone with Riverflow and Viewranger apps, and I have gone back to a "thermometer on a string" for temp readings because surface temps really don't tell me anything useful. Of course this is because I don't compete on a regular basis anymore. If I did I would certainly have and use all the necessary aids.

Sounds to me like you're passing up an opportunity for some cheap labor. Offer them 5 bucks an hour to build a privacy fence and do some cool landscaping. You'll get your ROI when the place sells. If they are true meth heads they can get a lot done in a day.

Well, if they can cook a decent batch then they should be renting a trailer somewhere soon, probably well before your first showing. How long has your place been listed ?

Everybody has to live somewhere. Be thankful that you aren't living in the woods now. I've been there myself, albeit more by choice (pride) than actual need. It kinda sucks.
  20. This "pulling cranks for crappie" thing is really taking hold isn't it ? I hear about it from everyone (customers) lately it seems, but I've never done it. I even see PWC's rigged up for it. From what I gather they are targeting suspended schools so I'm not sure that bottom composition is important at all. I do know that suspended crappie on LO love No-Wake bouy cables, so maybe trolling figure-8s around the bouys would be a good way to catch a mess ???
  21. Now that the the MOHP is throwing hiway guys into boats with minimal training I'd be darn careful of any water patrol jet boats.
  22. Holy Balls ! What are those freaks eating up there ?
  23. I'm game. Don't you and CD usually do a Lil'Ni camping trip in the Fall ?
  24. Ha! Yep, that's the one.
  25. I think it goes without saying that any experienced anglers "recommendations" are going to be tilted towards their own "style". What's wrong with that? If I was to feed this inquiry then you're ALL doing it wrong for not leaving the "gear" at home and using a flyrod.
