  1. that was my thinking exactly
  2. Buy the block off kit, there is a reason Merc offers it....Wrench talked me over the phone how to do it. 3 years in and im running great....mixing oil is so easy, people make a big deal out of it for no reason
  3. It is weird when summer ends and fall starts the attendance starts to drop off on Wed. They will have tournaments into the fall as long as at least 6 boats show up and they quit when the people quit showing up
  4. Thanks for the info, ill give it a shot next week
  5. spring, summer, and some of fall.
  6. from a sit still I hit anchor lock and mine goes in reverse about 10 feet. Ive calibrated a couple times, im going to update software because that will be the first thing Garmin tells you to do and if that doesnt work time to call customer service
  7. Im in, Payment sent via PayPal
  8. I wish i could win somthing more than a club tournament to give a lie detector a shot lol
  9. You always manage some nice fish thanks for all your reports. These are the best because yo give up the details but the battle isnt the bait its finding the fish and you always seem to find a few good ones....
  10. I actually prefer my duckett micro magics over my caras and megabass rods. Not sure why but i always end up with a duckett in my hand when cranking, not a fan of the guy himself but i do like that rod. I also have a Denali Kovert in heavy and absolutely love it for throwing heavy jigs or spoons. They sell Koverts at Fin and Feather in Springfield. I did have one break and they replaced it on the spot.
  11. Nice, I actually went to Big Creek for the first time this winter. I went out for crappie. dead calm when i got there. By the time i splashed the ProCraft it was blowing 15. caught a few crappie but i hate fighting the wind with light line. Pulled out the bass gear and had a good jig bite in conservation brush. they were smoking that thing, some were right on the bank and some were out in 10-12. beautiful day to be out. I still have you number from last year, ill give you a ring next time i head that way, i still have your number saved Bryan, and i appreciate all you reports. Best ones we have for Bull keep it up
  12. Pretty easy to tell a 1 time a month fisherman with to much money from a guy with an old rig zipping down the lake on pad

  14. I agree and if you take the size of Stockton or Pomme in comparison with TR they have just as many tournaments per acre
  15. When it gets real cold in flat creek they get off the brush and just roam out in open water on flats. One day you will catch them and the next you wont.
  16. I agree with you but at the same time our lakes dont have those southern strain that creates the giant bass. People say lake Fork is one of the most heavy pressured lakes in the country but 30lb bags are not a rare thing I wonder how many over 5 were caught on TR this year i know i had 4. which in the last 7 years i have only caught 2 others over 5 and this year i doubled it. And especially this year i saw higher weight than i ever have since i started following this kind of thing. It almost always took 17-20 this summer in all the night tourneys
  17. I follow lots of tournaments on this lake all year long and fish a lot of them and see 18-20 quite often especially when it is a bigger field. So i was just saying out of 350 boats its kinda surprising. Yeah it gets beat up pretty hard with tournament pressure but there are plenty of big bags in there, I just think October and November are tough
  18. Over on BBC there is a rumor the day 1 leaders were disqualified for sharing info. Hope thats just a rumor
  19. Wow, i never would have thought it would have been won with 16.41 of spots and smallmouth.
  20. I like Bass Pro ad what they are doing but they could have stepped up the coverage of this since they are a billion dollar company, You cant even find a leaderboard without sifting through the live weigh in feed. ITs literally an advertisement for Bass Pro with a couple fish catches every 15 min on NBC sports
  21. Its giving me anxiety watching those guys on TV up flat creek taking my smallies away. Ive probably spent more time on that stretch than anywhere else
  22. Anyone have any info on the ramp, i had a buddy tell me he was down there and they moved the barriers and looked like they dumped some gravel in making a ramp. He said its not a good ramp and it drops off pretty quick but good enough for a small jon boat. I hadnt heard anything about them ever opening it back up. I sure hope they keep it open, i miss fishing there
  23. figures they have to throw a MLF style twist into it. I think the 1 mil winner needs to be consistent and not just have a good day 3
  24. I think they cut it to 200 for day two and im not sure what the cut s for the final day
