  1. Lots of flow up there lately too. They've had water running over the dam for a solid month or so.
  2. I signed up through Jordan Valley. They are giving it to health care workers. Im sure some of you could sign up through them. I got my first dose and all i had to do was sign up online with my name and a time and print out a consent form to take in. I have in No way been asked for any credentials proving i work in health care, not online or in person, i though it was kinda weird. But they dont seem to care
  3. I like that area, you can There are a few large creeks that arent to far. I like Big Creek and Shoal Creek a lot. And you have the option to head to the upper haunts too. Upper section would be a long run from the dam. Also, Lakewoods is great place, ive stayed there plenty of times.
  4. Everything i read online says there average lifespan is around six years, which maybe that varies depending on the region. So thats what has me wondering about the 15" length limit. All the other lakes around have went to 12" and in general i think most people would agree are better bass lakes and less finicky. Maybe not better but EASIER may be a better word. I agree i like catching them, but i dont catch all that many keepers up the James where I typically spend a lot of time. I can tell you numerous times i would have loved to fill my limit out in a tourney with a 12" spot. Whenever it is tough out and my little boy wants to catch a fish I can always count on the spots. I tie on a drop shot and go catch those little buggers Here is a good article from MDC about spots and their length limit and age https://mdc.mo.gov/conmag/1998/03/spot-check-bass
  5. Im saying there is an abundance of small ones under 15" in the lake, im sure those last 10 teams that didnt weigh in caught plenty of short spots. Im sure a long time ago it was much better but I cant remember the last time i saw a tournament on TR won with all spots. I think there is just to many small ones for them to grow up. I remember reading on here years and years ago when everyone was talking about when a spot reaches 15"on TR it close to the end of its life span anyways.
  6. ITs a windy lake, has everything in it including big musky. 40HP limit
  7. They are pretty good, Ive mixed them in with some crappie and no one ever had a clue. Just wish they would lower the limit to 12". The spots have taken over Table Rock
  8. I think that is the most overlooked section on Table Rock, I spend a lot of time around there and always see way less guys fishing than anywhere else. Even less pleasure boats in the summer
  9. Was it by a pond on county line RD? I had to do a double take when i past by a statue of one right as the sun was coming up yesterday
  10. I just dont believe an 8 ft tall beast could hide for this long especially with how many hours are spent in the woods by hunters. How many millions of people have game cameras out and 12 megapixel cameras on their phones in their pockets, but still cant get a decent image of one.
  11. I can believe that grown men actually believe in Bigfoot
  12. Nice, how heavy is that a-rig, looks like a big hunk of lead on the nose
  13. I cant feel crap with gloves on. My cold numb hands have more sensitivity than my warm gloved hand. I carry a few pairs of jersey gloves in the boat for driving, thats it
  14. I love following the Qualified Captain on Instagram. Its great for a daily laugh
  15. Thanks Dutch!! Not sure what ill do, Current is great for most but n the way ive been hunting them down
  16. Man your he kinda guy that will dominate when the birds get the face forward sonar. Being good with side imaging is so much harder than learning live stuff. I need to learn more about side
  17. Is there anywhere simple to find out how much they are generating or if water is coming over the dam at Powersite? Ive done a little looking and couldnt come up with anything, and that current messes me all up when im chasing crappie around Beaver Creek
  18. That would make sense, they were scattered throughout the water column but none on the bottom and would not react to a bait dropping in front of their face. Even the 11" crappie were distinctively bigger on the scope. And all the ones i caught were withing a few feet of the bottom
  19. Wait for a guide boat to pass and follow him
  20. geez, I guess my boat is totaled if they were going to charge that much for stuff like that
  21. Little boy talked me into going so we hit Beaver Creek and caught 4 crappie real quick and a smallmouth that gave the little guy a battle. Then we hid from the wind so he could try out his new RC Boat. We had fun with that for a while and then packed it up. I went back by myself today and caught 11 crappie. They were very scattered in open water, i chased around schools of 4 and 5 fish with livescope and would drop on them and catch one or two and then go hunting again, a few came off brush, and almost all were in 25-30ft. Bite was extremely light using minnows, they would eat it and not move, cant imagine how many i didnt even know bit. Crappie were all around 11" except one 14.5". The water column in front of Beaver ramp is absolutely loaded with fish i just dont know what they are, they look small on the graphs and all i caught was one tiny yellow perch out of them
  22. I would say those are all fish around a tree. The slightest little movement of the pedal would probably clear it up and separate the fish. One thing i have realized is a lot the instructional stuff you see online isnt real life. Most of them have the perfect calm conditions to make a great video. When you battling wind and stuff it is harder to get that perfect picture
  23. This is the position you want it in for most everything
  24. On the livescope the trans only has a couple positions, one is for basically right under the boat and the other for in front. I can watch a whopper plopper come back on top or a fish on the bottom in 40
  25. Daiwa Tatula all the way
