  1. Post like this start fights...Keeping fish starts fights, fish laying on boat carpet start fights, Pictures of well handled fish in an aquariums start fights. What is the meaning of this post except starting a fight. If your so tender about a quick snap shot why would you ever put a hook through a fishes mouth. This site is about fishing, Pictures fuel this site. I hope Phil closes this post before a stupid debate.
  2. Those look pretty slick MJK86, Those colors would Definite be fish catchers on Bull Shoals. Jerry, just hold on to my bird until the Tin tourny. Im in no need for it for a while, My computer is in Cali and my new prop is on its way from Georgia. So my boat is down for a week or so a
  3. awesome!!!! Give some details?? Bet that was a chore to get in
  4. Ill be home on Thursday.
  5. Im working hard watching people sleep. 6th night in a row im about to go nuts
  6. I think the more expensive version is the called the Money Pole. Timmy Horton pushes is pretty hard on his fishing show
  7. I have that telescoping style also and it was kinda a pain to use i thought. I would work great to get an A-rig back though http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Telescopic-Lure-Retriever/product/37104 There are a few different brands of those but they are all similar
  8. I wont throw a crank without my retriever. I bet it has saved me $200 last year alone. I use the one that slides down the line also. works probably 85% of the time. Every trip we use it 3-4 times, that adds up quick especially when some cranks are $10+. I trolled one day with two shad raps on and two flicker shads and i couldnt really say one worked better than the other so i choose the cheap route. Dan how do you like the Xi5? I can imagine life without mine
  9. I had one day at Bull I caught 4 keeper Walleye on a # 7 Blue tiger. Middle of summer trolling about 2.5mph. Since then i havent had a ton of luck on it. That bait started running sideways and i couldnt get it tuned so i pulled the hooks off and use it as a keychain
  10. Another great color to get is Tennessee Shad, They dont sell them at BPS though. I ordered a whole bunch from Cabelas and it has become one of my top 3 colors. I think i have tried about every color they have made and i always go back to Racy Shad, Uncle Rico, and Tennessee Shad.
  11. Even with all those tournaments it still wont be half as busy as a typical saturday on table Rock
  12. I know what ya mean, we caught a lot trolling last year about this time from K-dock up to Beaver creek. Beaver Creek is a total zoo when it is on, i actually had someone hook a jerkbait into my motor from the bank one year. Im gonna look hard for them in Shoal Creek this year. We have got into them before in the spring and it is a lot more secluded
  13. It is a blast up there if you hit it right. Last year i got down there right after a thunder storm and everyone was pulling out. Me and a buddy caught 40-50. It gets very crowded at times. at one point I was trying different baits just to see what they wouldnt bite. My dad went the next day and didnt have a bite. Hard to beat a white vibric rooster tail up there
  14. I think the bass are just as big as Table Rock any day. We just dont hear about it because it is so less pressured. Only about 5 guys give reports on OA for Bull Shoals compared to the hundreds on the Rock. Ive seen some giants with my own eyes diving. I was going to get some video last summer but the water was up so high and visibility was to poor for much diving.
  15. I would say current is no match for a little playboat like that. I actually just sold mine last year
  16. Diamond City has a good ramp with loading dock.
  17. I put some Lews braid on my Ned rod and have really like it so far.
  18. At least 2 maybe 3 or 4 HDS 12's.
  19. Agreed , besides them all being a craw pattern there is a lot of difference. its always a guessing game at first, of course i started with a $10 crawler and then my buddy was just pulling them in on the wart, so obviously i picked up my wart rod... we didnt slay them or anything but it was apparent they didnt want my RC today. I think think honestly though it was the brighter colored warts. Not sure if they have anything bright yet in the RC, at least at BPS the RC's seem like more natural colors. Red, and purple tiger warts were our main thing today
  20. Me too except i finally tied one on, i gave most of mine away last year. finally threw it today for about 20 casts, caught one little spot and then decided i would rather cast somthing i enjoy and caught a few on a wart. Im sure if i got the right equipment to throw it on i might like it better buttttttt, nahhhh. just isnt much fun to me. just my personal opinion, i know some guys are great with them but im not gonna be one of those guys
  21. Probably saw ya we were in a red tracker, i know that doesnt narrow it down much since there are a million of them
  22. Good job, what boat were you in? we were around there most the day, more of the Bridgeport area. We caught 9 all together no keepers though, a few 14" spots. It was pretty windy out there in a Tin boat. had the Xi5 working overtime
  23. I wish they always bit the crawler it is very nice to throw, But the ol wart in red and purple tiger was hard to beat today, i picked up one on the a-rig and was about fed up with throwing it, and a buddy caught one on a H20 brand jerk bait. I threw a rc stick right next to him with no love. Have to say the H20 has some good paint jobs and it casted just as well as my rc stick and dove a little deeper.
  24. Yep, im in the small percentage that doesnt know who is even playing and went fishing all day. Cant stand organized sports!!!
  25. They wouldnt touch a Rock Crawler at Bridgeport today, Caught 7 on warts on the same banks
