  1. You need help with one of the best lines in one of the best movies ever made? I'm talking about Animal House of course. Otter to Flounder: "Hey, you f'd up. You trusted us." You trusted me. You should know better by now.
  2. Remember what the Delta brother Otter maybe? told Flounder when they made his actual brother's Lincoln a little bit of a mess? It might apply here.
  3. Have you ever eaten the tail? Supposedly they are good but I've never tried it.
  4. Golden Dragon.
  5. Great thread! Congratulations for all of it.😍
  6. No problem, I bought 20 gallons the other day. Come on over and I'll help a brother out.😎
  7. So you have a power outage? Still claiming victory on that front.
  8. Well, it snowed. All of this came after 3:00 AM. Snow blower is my friend. Dogs appreciate not having to wade through the snow to potty.
  9. I've got a story about slick roads and a torn rotator cuff but I'll spare you all the gory details, unlike some people we know.🤢
  10. Looksie like maybe you 1981.
  11. Never stop posting. Ever.
  12. You two need to cut it out with the fishing related stuff 🚫 and get back to panic over a little bit of snow😲.
  13. I walked 3 miles yesterday. Today I'm going to take a nap on the couch and wait for some snow. They say we are still going to get about 6" tonight. My driveway is about 1/8 mile and it gets ignored. Do the sidewalks, a big place for the dogs to potty and a wide path to the shop. Glad to not have to shovel. And glad for a 4 WD truck and wife's Jeep Renegade.
  14. Yeah me too. But most of all I miss the heart attack. I fired up the snowblower yesterday. Not even a heart attack to get it started, it's electric start. But I think it would have fired anyway on the second or third pull. Starter didn't crank even five seconds before it was running.
  15. I just got back from Post Office, bank and Chinese carryout in Ozark. Zip for snow. Roads from our house to the Finley bridge have been treated, so nothing there. From the bridge on into Ozark, untreated with patchy spots that are very, very slick. Roads in town treated so fine there. As winter storms go, I've seen worse. So. You guys within my zone of influence are most welcome.
  16. We have just a light skiff of ice here. Snow will come but that's OK. At least as far as knocking down trees and power lines. Usually.
  17. Somewhere between 1" and 78" probably covers it here too.🤓
  18. I fired up the generator yesterday and filled gas cans. Prepared for power outage in this upcomng storm, and as we all know, being prepared means it won't be needed. 🎯 So go ahead and thank me now. By the way, this is only good for Missouri. You Arkansas types are on your own.😎

    Chiefs

I'm used to this kind of thing from the Chiefs.
  20. A great dog from yesteryear. This photo is from 1979. Taken on Long Branch Lake on a flight day. I can remember it like it was this morning. RIP Dexter, I still think of you often. Edit: Oopise, I just confirmed it was actually 1983. Still qualifies as yesteryear though.
  21. I just saw a weather forecast for Florida that included Iguanas falling out of trees. So be careful.😵
  22. Phil thinks moderation actions should be explained and I'm fine with that, so here you go. 1. The first thread was locked by me due to multiple personal insults in the thread, not what the video did or did not present. 2. I deleted the second post of the same video because the first thread went bad and there is no reason to expect anything different in the follow up posts of the same video. 3. I have no idea if deleting the original post in the second thread also deleted the first thread because of the same content. But no one intentionally deleted the first thread.

    Life!!

Best to stay flexible in your plans.
  24. Happy Birthday to a great fisherman and even better guide. And many happy returns.
  25. I saw guys with RC boats doing that at Bagnell back in the '80's. Went fishing in Canada in the late 1970's. Northern Saskatchewan in early June. Ice was not fully out on the big lake (LakeAthapapascow) where we fished for lake trout. We camped out on an island one night. Water was about 20 feet deep pretty far out from shore and then dropped off a cliff to I dunno, 100 feet. Anyway you had to have bait in the deep water to catch anything and it was too far to cast. We had two boats and took turns taking baits far enough out and dropping them. Worked too. Best lake trout I ever ate was that night on that island. About the ice - the wind changed in the night and blew ice up on the side of the island where the boats were tied up. Made for an interesting next day. But we finally made it back to the dock.
