I’ve been doing really well with it up the rivers . Aunts was not good for me yesterday . Caught three fish two keepers . My older brother caught a fish out of 85 ft of water lol ! Said he was seeing shad down all the way to 100 ft . That’s just crazy !!!

I’m going to venture down in the morning . Has anyone put eyes on the road and ramp down in there ? I’m assuming we’ve had enough melt time to not make it a death trap .

Marty Stone gets the mute button on my TV . When he starts telling the camera how these pros should catch fish it drive me insane . Really anyone who thinks they know why the bass are behaving a certain way kinda grinds my gears . I’ve come to learn the only time we really know why they’re doing what they're doing is during the spawn . Everything else is just speculation

Witnessed a guy last week put a boat in at cape fair idle back to the swim beach and blast a goose on the ground . Right out of the camp ground . Pretty wild

I really don’t think the lake is turning over right now . I know I’ve experienced it at LOZ in November. I usually just go dirt shallow up there and it seems to work .

We seen you all day Dutch . We were in the red and white champion . Had 20 fish and 7 keepers for about 12 lbs .

A nice 3lb class largemouth close to cape fair . Was on about the 5th cast of 2022!

Used Hobie Outback. Nice fishing kayak. I no longer have a use for it . Very stable platform . I’m pretty sure it’s a 2017 model . Willing to let it go for $800 . Does not include mirage drive pedals , as they fit on another boat I have . Located in Springfield MO

I’m confused! me too! …but what ever . When it comes to fishing I’m about as confident as they come . But a $1,000 gamble isn’t worth it . Although I’m confident I would take your money . I usually try to be modest and not toot my own horn . But I’m pretty d*mn salty up there . Maybe in the future when I’m up that way we can have some friendly competition.

It’s very tempting , 1,000 is too rich for me though .

This forum is so funny, The guy pictured is probably the hottest fisherman in the Midwest , who just qualified for the Elite Series . All he does is fish , his mentor is Rick Clunn. And he also drives a big noisy bass boat . Good for him ! If you Spend every day on bull shoals like this young man does you will have bags like this under your belt . If I think I'm going to go down there one day a month and catch them like this I would be crazy . Bull Shoals is a fantastic lake ! I love spending time down there . I have had some good days on the lake , nothing over 20lbs but I have had a few days close to that . 24/7 I’m in the same mind frame as you . I’m not going to tell everyone how and where to go catch fish . It took me 25+ years to hone these skills of reading conditions and knowing what presentations to use . I’m not about to go on social media or YouTube or a public forum and start giving it all away . Get outside put in the time and find your own path ! It’s what makes fishing and the art of tricking them so fun and rewarding . Now if you’re in the boat with me , or you’re a co-angler I draw it’s a complete different story . I’m an open book in person and can talk fishing with anyone.

We have a few guys in our float group that roll canoes with 12v trolling motors . They just cut a 2x4 and latch the motor on the side of the canoe . Works like a charm for those long slow pools , can easily pull it up when in shallow rapids . Cost you about 100 bucks to add it to your boat . Surely you couldn’t possibly need more capacity when going solo in a 16 ft canoe .

Seems odd to me that the local team that was DQ’ed just happens to be the related to the “hottest” team fisherman/ tournament angler in the region . Not saying that he’s not 💯% legal and ethical . It just seems a bit unreal to me that he never has an off day . Just wins them all . But who knows
