  1. Those and livescope could be considered cheating 🎣
  2. I really like the pointers, they get out there on a good cast and get down where they need to be. I always threw rogues like everyone else for years and they still have their place. Baits are tools and you just have to adjust to the day.
  3. Took a look at that jackall rerange on TW. Price is in the LC pointer range, good looking bait too. A lot of good reviews about it. Adds another choice to the Mix I guess.
  4. Nice job Quill. I always like to hear how ya do. That nice weather, as you very well know, usually equals tough fishing. I love when they are on the stickbaits.
  5. Well you fooled me. When I read your title I almost choked on my ham sandwich!
  6. How fragile are the vision 110s? I've heard they can be and was wondering if anyone has seen it firsthand.
  7. Saw your pics, looked like a fun day for you two. Cheese had a good day up the James on a stickbait so maybe things aren’t so doom and gloom after all. Either that or your all a bunch of sandbaggers!
  8. I'm guessing from the lack of reports the fishing has been pretty bad this fall and early winter. I have to believe the lakes have been hit pretty hard with people headed to the lake to "get away" from this virus. Has pressure been heavier than normal? I went once in April and haven't been since.
  9. Try fishing Kimberling to the Dam. It’s where they live.
  10. If that report is true I think you would find that it would be hard to replicate that day on The Rock right now for sure.
  11. Was thinking about going crappie fishing next month. Any advice on places to stay. Will be bringing a boat and also be looking to rent a fishing boat for a couple days.
  12. Bull is the best lake in the Ozarks in my opinion. I would go down there and fish the Big Creek area a couple times a year back in the 90s and early 2000s and would love to get back. I can only imagine the numbers of fish that swim there. It is full of fish for sure.
  13. Not sure I would even want to touch that thing, looks radioactive!
  14. Hello Bo. What's the difference between your Mega Blade and Crazyblitz. Would you put them up against a Jackhammer? I definitely like your price a whole lot more.
  15. Navigation aid, traffic sign, speed limit sign etc. Majority of these buoys mean one thing, slow down and don’t make a wake. If you tie up to a buoy your blocking it’s view to others in essence. It would be like putting plastic trash bags over a traffic sign. If I wanted to swim, just stop the boat and jump in. You don’t need to tie to anything. Just make sure your not the only one in the boat when you do it 😂
  16. A buoy is for navigational purposes. It never crossed my mind that someone would tie up to one. Some are these yahoos just don't get it though, its just part of what you got to put up with on the lake.
  17. Alton Jr. is a stick for sure. When you think of all the father son duos or even throw in the Van Dams for that matter, how would you rank them. Hibdons and Martins come to mind. Really good intel about these pros and the deals on the equipment. I was always curious about the subject. If you take all the live scope and periscopes and whatever else you want to throw on these boats to "find" fish out of the equation would a lot of these guys be able to cut it on tour? Without the fish catches you would have a pretty boring TV show for sure, which in the end tells the real story. $$$$$
  18. So in review, we are down to 5 if we throw in Bass Cat. Ranger and Nitro from Johnny, Phoenix and Skeeter are independents. Just looking on the Lund website I would be curious to know how their pro v bass series rated for an aluminum boat. Personally I would be looking in the independent market.
  19. You guys are something else. You would be hard pressed to catch anything better than what your pictures show right now. My hats off, well done fellas.
  20. Wait till November, the bite will be better. September October are notorious for being tough.
  21. Game 1 and we are in our first rain delay of the year. Has anyone seen an over under on the number of players to test negative or positive this year?
  22. I've seen this before and I couldn't believe he was still capable of showing glimpses of what he once was. He was a punchline for jokes for years. I heard him speak the other day and he sounded very lucid and together to me. Good for him, I hope he and Roy put on a good show.
  23. I watched a little today. Buddy Gross was fishing some backwater stuff for large mouths, which isn't the norm here at all. He said he's never been to this body of water and wanted to stay close to takeoff. It's definitely an intimidating place to navigate for sure. The wind has not blown yet but it will change things when or if it does.
  24. St Lawrence river on ESPN2 is on the next few days. The smallies are on steroids there. I heard Zona say Mike Tyson is going to fight Roy Jones Jr in September. Cover your ears Roy.
  25. Well that doesn't sound like much fun at all! Well done. Was it up and down under the boat or were you making casts with the jet?
