    Sounded like they where doing some kind of excavating or earth moving, not at outlet three but behind it just north of it where the pond is. I could see, hear, and smell the dirt being moved.

    I also smelled that yesterday, thought it might be lake turnover, but then heard all the construction equipment and land movers, so i think its turnover, not lake turnover, but earth turnover around outlet three.

    Brad Pitt was Hilarious in Burn after reading, love the Cohen Brothers. How about Mr Pitt, him not me, in Guy Ritchie's movie "Snatch", as a "Piker"?

    Yea, a lot of those movies in the late 60's and 70's did not have the feel good theme. I like that they had to rely upon good acting, directing and cinematography, less on the special effects and flashy editing.

    I fished Friday from 11:00 to 2:00 drifting up and down the Narrows, started really good, lots of actions drifting scuds and san juans, then water turned off, and wind shifted directions and colder front moved in, turned off like a spigot for me.

    Here are some text instructions... 1. Click the upper right red/white icon and select settings 2. Scroll down to site settings and click 3. Scroll down to content section and make sure javaScript is allowed and images indicates "show all" 4. If that does not work, then make sure your Anti Virus and Ad blocker settings are'nt to restrictive, to test turn off and see if it resolves issues, if does, then you should be able to fine tune or whitelist ozark anglers in these settings.

    So i saw your previous screen shots.. try this... follow the steps below, the goal is to see if javascript is enabled and loading images is allowed in your browser settings. Also, check these settings, but if you have any antivirus/ad blocker software running, make sure it's not turned up to much, that could also be the problem, To test you could turn off, then see if it resolved, but don't leave it off, you might have to fiddle with settings.

    Also, are you seeing any images in adds or profile images of users?

    What do you get with images? can you share a screen shot of your browser?

    It looks like Google Chrome, the message also looks like a forum message dialog, not a google chrome dialog message. I'm using Google Chrome and seems to be working fine for me. I'm on a mac. The "like" link is an http url, but that should not be a problem. Hover over the like heart and right click, you will bring up a menu shown below. Click "open link in new tab". This will show a new tab with the link, hit enter and it should perform the like, or you will get some kind of message, I'm curios what is does. or maybe this will provide some more info to help diagnose.

    Bought a fish Thumper. Apparently they simulate, sonically, white bass, hybrids, and crappie pounding bait fish. I've fished with guides in saltwater who will "thumb" the bottom of the boat to get attention, guessing it's the same idea, curios to see if this works. I fly fish Clinton(Lawrence,KS) for these species, will let you know if it works. It's a ball peen hammer hooked to a 12v motor in an Ammo can. Search "fish thumping" on youtube and you will see videos on the idea.

    I would not go less than an 8 weight for salt, also drag can come into play, so a decent reel is a good idea, especially if you connect with a big bull red. Salt water fish strength is incredible. Lots of those salt fish have big eyes, so I like longer floro leaders. Floating salt line is best, but freshwater works, just wash it good the same day you fish, same with a non salt sealed bearing reel.

    Phil, Thanks for the report. there's a dissolved oxygen and temp meter at the school of the Ozarks down from your place. I added it to the SMS app. If you text. "g taney" ,without the quotes , to this number 913.270.0360 it will report current readings. Does this gauge provide accurate enough reading? What levels of D/O are considered good? Thanks, David

    Fished trophy section this evening with 200 mhw generation from cable to ramp. Fly fished with a deep rig, 4 bb, big indicator, about 10-12 foot leader, scuds and san juans, did pretty well, most of the fish where big and fat, however they appeared sluggish and a couple took a bit to revive without a long fight. Could this be the DO level? Not sure what is considered good or bad? Here's the current DO level at the school of the ozarks sensor.
