Feel lucky Jeff.. We saw a bunch more Dillon road kill than I remember along I70 around Columbia when we drove around back in June. The first one I remember seeing above the Missouri was about 8 to 10 yrs ago.
Would prefer to catch and transport a 1000 pregnant bull sharks and have them pup around Alton IL. Those young sharks will get those carp as they grow and migrate to the gulf of Mexico over a couple of years.
I have plenty but to post here I would have to catch them with the long rod. I haven't tied on new leader since the rabbit ate my fly line last yearπ. After I get 100 I'll teach Livie to poorly cast like her dad. Maybe catch a fish or two.
Our lakes and rivers don't need new species added. Go somewhere else to catch those if you want. Protect and better our native fisheries is a much better plan.
That was only 6 yrs ago. I regret those decisions made in my youth. I know now that my lack of action has been detrimental to the integrity of this thread. Though not deserving I can only hope to receive some level of forgiveness.

Anyway didn't have my phone or a camera on that trip. Don't remember why.
Absolutely amazing! I just can believe it!
Someone took the time to update the sign, they had all of the letters necessary, and everything is spelled correctly π€£
They sure looked like grass pickerel to me. Wouldn't claim them as redfin.
Caught several about 6 years ago from the wire road access. Didn't get photos π.
I want to fish the lakes in New Hampshire that they stock with brook trout by helicopter. My buddy got divorced and moved to SC from VT. We were going to see him then go to NH and then Maine.. Kinda changed our plans to make that trip π.
Still want to get up that way.
I was never on Conservation Cafe and only very infrequently on MWT. At that time I was really involved with the North American Hunting and Fishing club forums. Met a few of those guys at the Deer Classics back in the day in Columbia.
