  1. How many 4600's you got layin around Wrench?....noticed you picked up another lot here a few months back before I could even consider it?
  2. Check their website. I think tim has a video or two about his go pro set ups.
  3. I agree with the top 3.
  4. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
  5. Why drop down the P2 Ham?
  6. And you are in a a good boat that you work on yourself...you should be enjoying it.
  7. Congrats on the start up guys! A great story, website and logo. Just signed up for the newsletter and will be placing an order for some of each once the finesse jigs are ready. Wishing you all the best.
  8. Rooting the rocks feels like rocks. The bite feels like mush. Mainly because the tension you feel on the retrieve is lessened as the fish takes the bait and swimming toward you. Tell him to only set the hook when the line seems to go "slack". And then it's really just loading the rod. Not a violent hook set.
  9. My on-sale Lexa showed up under the tree as planned. A bit heavier than I expected but smooth as silk. Paired it up with my favorite St. Croix ML fast action rod and and sniper fc I also found on sale a while back. Looking forward to straight flouro on the 3000 reel. My original go-to Ned set up was braid to leader. I liked it and got good at tying the leader but it was a pain to have to ret-tie if needed. Hope to report back in the near future on the complete set up. And just stay consistent with the golf ball subject, I ran by Costco for some things today and have to admit I looked to see if they had the balls in stock, which they didn't. I wouldn't have bought anyway, but no thanks to you guys, had to look.... Sticking with the Velocities.

  12. Wish List - Upgrade to a newer rig. Actual List - Braces for both kids next week and paying off my wife's new hip. I did take advantage of the cabelas Lexa sale. Kids are wrapping the box today. Bo will be seeing another jig order from me soon. After the dust has settled I may buy myself a date with Babler. Wishing everyone a safe and Merry Christmas.
  13. Jim Beam I'm sure. With a sip...sip...shot cadence.

    Absurd

    Appreciate the info Cindyjo.
  19. Vernon, I went through the same thing a week and a half ago. Switched to a UV green pumpkin shaky head to scratch some fish out. No big ones but enough fish to make me feel better about myself. Kept thinking I should get the c rig out but never did. Be safe, enjoy your time and keep us posted.
  20. Went for a couple of hours this am. Not much to report. I caught a few, just couldn't figure out how to fish with no water running. It's not what I'm used to. Didn't want to fight the crowd around the outlets but they were doing well. A couple of guys around me did well stripping stuff. I'm not much of a stripper, so to speak. The fish I caught were on brown dry stuff. Quit after lunch and went to fish Table Rock.
  21. Caught 7-8 more this afternoon. One LM the others all SM. Most short fish with only a few keeps. Jig, buzz bait and the keitech. The keitech fish were shallow and came in a flurry near sun down on chunk/ledge rock mixed in on gravel banks. Missed a few and lost a good one on the buzzbait around shallow docks. Trailer hook going on tomorrow. Graphed fish in 20 fow just outside the newly visible tree lines but couldn't get bit. May try drop shotting them tomorrow. Here's one that kicked off the late run at them.
  22. I took a couple of days off to come down and fish. Got on the water late afternoon and caught 6 in a main lake pocket. All short Smallmouths on a Jig, Ned rig a keitech swim bait. All but one were caught in less than 10'. The last jig fish was tonight in the dark in 18' on a roll off. Lost a monster smallmouth this afternoon that will haunt me for a while. She hit a red eye shad in about 4' and threw it after the second flop just as she got to the boat. My fault. I was too excited and tried to power her in. Water was 76 with a little color. Visibility looked to be 3-4'. Hope to have a better update tomorrow with some picture worthy fish.
  23. Thanks for the report. I took a couple of days off to come down and fish Tablerock and Taneycomo. May fish Taney tomorrow or Saturday and will report anything of interest.
  24. Thanks cheese. I like your partner. Good luck 176. You'll win either way fishing with yiur son.
