Guys, I'm talking about 2' wide streams sometimes. You have to low crawl up to them and rest. You get one cast. The best way is floating a small piece of luan, etc with your fly on it and yank it off when it goes under the bank. Or bushwhack into small beaver damns. The scenery is always worth it

Small stream brook trout. Hard fishing, but sometime you get rewarded.

I have a trout creel that is like a bag, not the old wicker type. It is from the 60's and has a rule on the outside. It has had thousands of brookies from Michigan and Canada in it. One day in Michigan I had a small limit (I think it was 5, 8" brookies) Met the game warden, Max Fembe and he proceeded to show me that the bag was wrong. AND It was. It really wasn't close, I still have it and use it and can prove how something shrinks.

I started taking a roll up table/ with easy adjust poles. Sucks for me to work on the gravel/sand cooking etc. Playing cards with friends under the stars with adult beverages ...... The table rolls up like a Thermorest , pretty slick and doesn't take up much room. Chairs are a must for multi day trips. Unless you are very young and have backs waiting to be wiped out when you are wiser. Have fun.

I have a Duck Commander call, works fine. It is signed by Godwin, say's.... give me a sammich. Met him and family at a church fund raiser. I like the show because it drives city folks crazy.
