Got my new jersey ordered, hoping it gets here on time and i hope i have my new to me tow vehicle done by then and get the wrap done on vehicle and the most important part get up early enough to get there.

Im with you eye, it isnt worth all the problems to catch fish.....i think form now on i'll just put a sinker on my line and throw it out there.

In my helix 7 on the bow i run a split screen, down image on one side and sonar on the other, it kind of verifies what im seeing on sonar and down image...i dont have SI on it or gps.

Renewed my fishing license today and the license from last year and year before was a nice plastic type material, which held up well and always looked presentable.....BUT now it's just a piece of cheap paper like you would run off of your copier, you would think they would have stayed with the plastic type material..i just disappointed i guess...lol...it also says to keep license looking nice to put it in a plastic bag....lol

Putting some of that oily smelly stuff in you bag of plastics also helps to keep them from drying out.

I have had them on for almost a year and no issues so far and yes they are water proofed....i spliced into my backup light wire on my truck and have a spade connector separate from the trailer light plug, but i always plug it in anyways so they come on everytime im in reverse.

Thanks for the report Quill!! I put in at Shell Knob yesterday afternoon around 1:30 and went towards point 22 &23 and the where white caps out there.The wind was pushing my boat 1-2 mph..lol...most fish i saw on fish finder was in 30-80 foot of water. I dont think my new partner likes the boat, that was one reason for going i left about 4pm. Water temp was from 46 degrees too 49 degrees.

I sanded and buffed out my 89 Champion and it looks respectable now, it had many years of neglect. The clear coats of today are some better than what they where in 89 and as someone stated above my gel coat well get a dull look to it after awhile and i just get out the buffer and polish and have at it and i do wipe my boat down with wax as u dry from eagle one. There is a difference from what i'am told between marine clear coat and automotive clear coat, now whether it's true or not i dont know.
