  1. That's what I'm talking about right there! Good day!
  2. We put in at Mill Creek and fished a bunch of our usual spots. It's funny that you had it too windy. We had glass for 2/3 of the morning and I'd been really hoping for some wind.
  3. UGH! I tried to double check my lineup today, and apparently I never saved it or something. So much for the top 10...
  4. I think you may be right. I saw several places where there were lots of bubbles yesterday. Fishing was pretty tough yesterday too. We caught a few, but the 3 keepers were the kind that you almost had to step on to make them keepers.
  5. Sorry. Just saw this. We've been launching off of the road. Parking is an issue, but it'll be awhile for the ramp to be open still.
  6. Yep. I loaded up on Yum Dingers awhile back. Wal Mart in Ozark was running them for $1.99 a pack. I might have cleaned them out of green pumpkin and mouse War Eagles too.
  7. I hear you. I'm still trying to figure out why they sell balls by the dozen if I never lose any.
  8. This makes me think that there should be an OAF golf outing at some point.
  9. They may or may not be hammering a morning dawn Yum Dinger on a shaky head.
  10. Am I the only one that wears different shades for playing golf? I have a couple pair of Tifosi that are great on the golf course. I won't hardly wear anything but them. The light transfer makes the ball really pop if it's in the rough. (Not mine in the rough...)
  11. I thought that a spinnerbait can be thrown all day everyday.
  12. A lot of guys like Solar Bat. I only wear Costa del Mar when I fish. The lenses are unreal they're so clear. I also have a prescription pair of Oakleys that are just kind of ok and I spent more than a car payment on those. The other one that I've heard good things about has been Wiley-X and I think they can be purchased at Wal Mart in the eye clinic for under $100. Don't be afraid to look on Ebay for Costas. Just watch who you're buying from to make sure they're real. https://www.walmart.com/c/brand/wiley-x http://www.ebay.com/itm/COSTA-DEL-MAR-white-blue-mirror-ROOSTER-POLARIZED-400G-GLASS-sunglasses-NEW-/391877770962?epid=1961928839&hash=item5b3dbc3ed2:g:cy8AAOSwk9dZl5w3 https://www.solarbat.com/products/th1-sunglasses
  13. I have a couple of Duo and I think they're 90 sizes. I've caught fish on them, but only 1 keeper. It gets bit, but I have a hard time figuring out if I'm remotely doing it right.
  14. Check Groupon and KY3 deals first. They list 1/2 price rentals on there a lot.
  15. Saw the news this morning. Very sorry for your loss.
  16. Call the marina out there about the motor. I think if it says 40 you're good either way. Everyone that I know that's caught a muskie out there has been trolling crankbaits.
  17. I know on Table Rock and Bull Shoals if you find shad in pockets or creeks, you find bass. I've been catching shallow fish all summer on those lakes. As the water temp drops they'll stay shallow too. You just have to cover a ton of water to find them.
  18. I did on one. I second guessed myself and could pay for it this week.
  19. 1. Bull Shoals 2. Back seat of a 1989 Ranger 3. Partly cloudy with light occasional rain. If there was wind, there were fish biting. 4. Mouse colored War Eagle Blade and a Jackall Gantarel.
  20. I'm always curious on what guys are throwing big baits on. I have an Okuma guide select with a Lew's Super Duty. I kinda want a second setup for big baits. Catching them on Gantarels and rats has me pretty much hooked.
  21. Decided to hit Bull Shoals on Wednesday early morning. Went down K hwy to see how close to the ramp we could get. It's literally 20 feet below the water surface so I turned around and launched right then and there from the road. You know a lake has a ton of water in it when you're going to the backs of creeks and pockets only to look down at the GPS and see that you're not even close to the lake! We saw tons and tons of deer, 2 coyotes, a bobcat, a wood duck, a cottonmouth, and a fox. It was like wild kingdom out there! For what it's worth there are millions of shad everywhere on that lake right now. When we'd see fish busting them, we'd chuck a square bill in there and get bit instantly. While you'd reel them in, you'd get 5-6 trying to steal it out of the hooked fish's mouth. Most of those fish were around 10-12 inches, but it was fun. We did have 2 keepers on the plopper going along the bushes in the very backs of creeks. We hit several areas all around K-Dock. I had one really nice fish on a Jackall Gantarel using my big swimbait setup. It was my first time throwing that lure. It looks amazing in the water and the two bites I had on it were pretty fierce. We had several 4lb class fish on mouse and purple shad colored War Eagle spinnerbaits too. If there was any kind of ripple on the water, those got crushed. Great day and only saw 3 other boats. Put in at 6:00am and were off the water by 1:30. WT was 83.
  22. What do you throw your bullshad on?
  23. Champ, you'd have loved it Wednesday. They were just crushing the blade as long as there was a breeze. No breeze, no bueno.

  25. I'm no help on the lower end, but we went yesterday and K Dock is 20 feet under water. We just backed down K hwy and launched off of the road. Fwiw, the fish are very active.
