Some people don’t believe the east wind theory but I do. I still go but my expectations are tempered. Doesn’t seem to affect river fish as much as lakes. Just my opinion.

If the gravel bar has vehicle access or a boat ramp chances are you will have company. And possibly not good company. I use or go by a lot of public ramps when river fishing and even during the week there is somebody there. Many times I’ve left without putting my boat in and leaving my vehicle unattended. The past weekend it happened. When the area is occupied and their beer cans are scattered everywhere at 5:30 am and they are still partying. I’m out!!!!

Honestly, I just don't want to deal with it. It's already cutting into my fishing. I'm meeting the adjuster Wedneday when I WAS going to the lake. I got hit with hail when the Easter tornado went through either 2011 or 2013. The one that hit the airport. I am by no means as bad as some in the area. I wish them well....

I'm interested in hearing what others say. I've heard the bluegill are big in Trock. But I don't have experience with either of them.

We got hit Friday. 80 MPH winds and hail up to 3". Broke out windows in addition to roof and siding damage. 6 minutes total. Then the sun came back out. I've already filed the claim and I'm waiting on the insurance guy to come out....

There’s a couple guys on YouTube I watch occasionally. They cut up bluegill and shad for channels and blues. Live ones for flatheads. They are still-fishing though.

At least you don’t have 25’ center console bay boats like Taney.

Surprisingly good fishing considering there were at least 20 boats running back and forth. But dang! Some guys couldn’t throw bigger wakes.

Back at it again today. On the water at 6:45 done at 10:30. Just a great time catching fish. No browns again today. A bunch of stout rainbows! The longer one in the net was over 20”s. LOTS of boats! Nearly all guides. What the heck is going on with these huge center consoles the guides are using. A guy driving the Yamaha CC with 5 people in it just plowing massive wakes. Ridiculous!!! And the deep V Lunds doing the same. 🤷♂️.
