  1. Doesn’t say expert or proficient. That magazine used to be something I looked forward to. Now. Mehhh. av·id /ˈavəd/ adjective having or showing a keen interest in or enthusiasm for something.
  2. I have a Honda and it’s a great mower. Change the oil, keep the air filter clean and you’ll be good to go.
  3. If I hold my finger over the primer bulb line it will run on the second choke setting. I’ll check the fuel line.
  4. I know but it's fun to try and fix it.
  5. Most common mistake in fly tying... Over dressing flies.
  6. I bought a 2 stroke snow blower at a garage sale a while back. The lady said it ran when they last used it a couple years. She wanted $40 and I said if you start it I'll pay you $40. She grinned and said I'll throw in the gas can and not start it for $20 and I took it. I like following the guys trying to fix stuff here on OA. It's fascinating. My parents owned a Schwinn Shop when I was young and I miss working on mechanical things so I bought it. I drained the gas, checked for spark and it had it, but I bought a new plug since the old one was oiled up. I also got some engineered gas and some carb cleaner per @gotmuddy. The primer bulb didn't seem to work since I couldn't see or hear anything when I pushed it. I took off the shrouds, got the gas and spark plug in and had to hook back up the ignition switch since it was attached to the shroud. I sprayed some carb cleaner in it and it started on the second pull. SWEET! The only problem is it dies if I turn off the choke. That and the shrouds are really difficult to work with so I might leave then off and run it rat rod style. Any ideas on the choke issue. Youtube says it could be the carb diaphragm. Some on here recommended just replace the carb but it's $89. Right now I have $27 in it. IMG_7922.MOV
  7. Sounds like the meramec 😂
  8. The instagram ad has the pflueger president for $49.99. They’ve been as high $69.99 lately
  9. I hope he replies on here. I like following along.
  10. I might have to check that out.
  11. Didn’t they just replace it?
  12. @fishinwrenchmight be able to help. He’s a good dude.
  13. I was down a month or so with the same issue. They ran about 2500 to 3500 the whole time and I ran everywhere in a jet. May @netboycan help. He sure helped me.
  14. For @Johnsfolly You know the difference between black eyed peas and chick peas? Black eyed peas can sing a song but chick peas can only hummus one.
  15. Are some of those under the length limit?
  16. 😂😂😂. Stop it I just ate dinner😂
  17. I can't believe that was 7 years ago...
  18. I’m gonna check for spark, fuel delivery because I think the primer bulb is shot and get some starter fluid. Then go from there to see if I can get this motor running. Then a carb. If it runs I’ll fix the electric start.
  19. My wife and daughter get the shells on Captiva and Sanibel and display them like that. They also put them in small wine flutes. They must have 30-40 of them. BTW, don't ever ask why they need so many....
  20. You can actually buy them on Amazon if you need a gift idea.
  21. My wife has only gotten a couple to bloom more than once in 30 plus years. Good job John! Shes moved on to air plants.
  22. I bought toro 2 stroke snow blower at a garage sale. They said it ran 3 years ago when they last used it. I paid $20 for it to see if I can get it running. I got the old gas out and bought some engineered gas. I’ll open it over the holiday this week. I know absolutely zilch about motors but I watch your guys posts and find them fascinating. So I thought I would try.
  23. I saw a show and a Michigan guy almost ate the state record smallie. His neighbor talked him into having it weighed first. It was either the current record or the recent previous record. It was this guy. https://www.freep.com/story/sports/outdoors/2016/09/14/michigan-fishing-record-smallmouth-bass/90350918/
  24. FIFY. 😂
  25. Says 200 today and 50 tomorrow
