    Did not know that. I’ve never done it, I just remember a post on here a long time ago and they caught a big shark with chicken parts. It was in a bay but I don’t remember where.

    We just stop at Walmart when we get there and buy a plastic sand flea rake and bucket. Few bucks. Kids love to harvest them. I enjoy it myself.

    Sand fleas on a circle hook. Otherwise SPOON! 3/8 jig with a curly tail grub works too. Flukes too.

    Yep. If you are on a river with access points conducive to floating it's just amazing how many more people are doing it. A huge increase after Rona hit for sure but still increasing before then. Saturday at the boat ramp I found about a dozen gar dumped after being shot with a bow. That's just pure wanton waste and no otters were involved.

    In 2020 I probably saw a dozen or so slides and one otter. I prefer they weren't reintroduced but I haven't dispatched any.
