We brought in German interlocks for the gilboa dam a few years ago. They came though the Great Lakes seaway. It’s a giant pipe pile wall dam.
When I worked for GM we went to the sault in January. We had to wait for the bridge to open because of 60 mph wind. When allowed to cross we stopped at the peak and got out of the car. Frozen rock solid and brutal cold. The only place open up was the casino. Norwegian girls and offshore fishermen made the table games interesting. 😁
