    Bass in the lake are tough! Table Tock. I’ll probably go trout fishing this weekend. Taneycomo. But reports there aren’t great either. 🤷‍♂️

    My neighbor went out yesterday in the dam area and only had one bite. A GIANT spot. His PB. Full of eggs and hit a crank. Only bite they got in 5 hours. I don’t know what is going on. I looked at my pictures from last year this time and it was a full moon. We are in a new moon phase this week. 🤷‍♂️

    I love a good pest control program! However, raccoons are not as nice in a cage as they are portrayed on TV. Trust me😂

    There’s at least 2 dozen around here too. I checked my notes from last year and the water temperature was 48 and I was catching them shallow on cranks, jigs and the dirt whacky.

    Nobody checks in MO and the cleaning stations haven’t been maintained in years. I wouldn’t bother with it.

    We used to go to the open at Bennett all the time. We were teenagers at the time and got our spots early right below the main bridge. Mid to late 70’s I guess. Two guys come down and told my buddy the governor is here and would like to squeeze in and fish. My buddy told them, well he should’ve gotten up earlier. We all laughed as they walked back up to the parking lot.

    Got out yesterday and today for about 4 hours each day. Lower end. On the water around 10 both days. SLOW would be an improvement. 1 bite on a crank and it got off. Looked to be a small spot. Threw everything but my wife at them. Hit my favorite south facing banks. Got excited with WT 48 but it was bad. Even found 51 degrees today right up on the bank. Gorgeous weather though.     I'm surprised there hasn't been a widespread shad kill yet... Which would play into the white bite.... Good luck!
