    Did they put the job out to bid? If they are doing the work the themselves did they put out a material source bid? Seems extremely high for that little thing. Some driven H-pile and timber ought to do the trick. I've seen crane access trestles go for less.

    A guy on the TV show Alaskan Frontier knocked out a nice one pretty quick last night. I couldn't believe how fast he did it. Pretty cool!

    We've chased covey's on our farm for years in the same 45-50 acre lots. In short they would stay in the same area year after year. We used to have hundreds of birds but now we are down to a couple covey's so I quit shooting them. My father in-law (lifelong farmer on the property) said they had a lot more birds when the locals used to chase coyotes with dogs and horses. He said when the neighbors complained and they stopped doing it the bird population plummeted. I miss those great hunts back then.

    I Always tip. Amount depends upon service. Gave a guy a 50% ($200) tip for one baby tarpon that we had to resort to live bait to catch after 8 hours of fly fishing. 10 foot saltwater crocodile trying to eat the hooked tarpon by the boat near dark ......priceless!! I don’t pay for fish I pay for the experience.
