I thought about this driving to work, NoLuck, I did say something bad a while back about Bennett. I complained when they put the hatchery pipe in below the main bridge and ruined a good area. Fist time I was there two people pulled up lawn chairs and started chucking bait. I knew then it was the demise of the Bennett I grew up at. Never been back but I have not dogged it or the people who fish there. Now the Park seems to cater to the general public more than the serious fisherman. I see all the time at Taney. In fact I've told several people they were in the fly area and can't use bait. Clearly if you have the bait jars right out in the open you aren't trying to scam the system. All of them thanked me for giving them the heads and asked where they could fish. I always send them to Cooper Creek.

Laughing because it’s become so pervasive. And since they aren’t hiding it they probably don’t even know the rules. I grew up fishing Bennett Springs I took my kids there all the time. I don’t think you’ve ever read anything on here where I had disdain for the parks or people who fish there. Heck I go to meramec springs every winter. You must be thinking of someone else.

I have the hinged fiberglass top on Ram 1500 Crew Cab. My 8' Pond Prowler fits under it when it's closed tailgate down and locked. I put it in there the night before a trip and back it up to my house so you can't get it out. Then I just add a few things in the morning and take off. The hinged top limits loads but it is great for keeping things safe and dry. Nothing will keep a determined thief from getting your stuff though.

It's my fault. I know Wrench and I've this happen on here before and I goaded him along. Good on McC for helping out.
