    We always referred to walleye as jack salmon if they are river fish. in a lake its a walleye. Don't know why.

    I believe they were started in a hot house because they have several big ones down there. Some years they are mealy with tough skins but not this year. My wife talks to her flower garden.

    Happens on the rivers too. Last week had a guy drop in right below us and start fishing. Cut us right off. We had hammered them for a while already so we just left. Crazy!
