There used to be a match fishing show on TV around here a couple years ago. It was fascinating to see their methods. Although I'm not touching the bait. Looked like a huge mess to clean up after a day of fishing.

Because that's the fishing rod my dad gave me when I was 3 or 4. I cant say how old but that's what I had as a real little kid.

And drove my parents old station wagon to Arkansas and skipped school on Monday because the water was off and the fish biting. Although my dad was a trout bum he still beat the crap out of me on Tuesday.

Not my biggest or first smallie but Saturday I caught a 17 incher out of my new boat. My son caught the first fish ever in the boat and it was a small spot. But hey, he got the first! Thanks Hog Wally!!

I said it before and I'll say it again. If our company provided products like that we would have been out of business decades ago. Unbelievable!

I use them on big buggers when thrown on sinking lines. I never really noticed a difference in catching so I just don't tie them in anymore. Like the peacock hurl on a crackle back or other patterns with stuff on top of a dry fly. How can a fish see the top of the fly. I just don't tie it anymore.
