  1. Different tools for different jobs... should be weird in turns. Flat would be better in a turn but not as good as a vee or semi-v. there is no 1 hull for everything, it’s all a trade off. The bow being concave or convex on the sides of the keel change handling. The options are almost endless as are their strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Yes. free body diagrams and Newton’s 3rd law. First seems applicable but it’s been 20+ years... while decreased from perpendicular it does indeed create a reaction. FWIW my wife hates when I use physics to explain something she’s emotional about Not my rules but physics always work unless emotion is involved.
  3. If it was truly perpendicular it would be equal. In practical reality, angles and shapes are in play. Curves really set apart lift.
  4. if hydrodynamics wasn’t in play, yes. However, the shape of the hull factors in... in practice, the tunnel can generate more lift by its increased surface area. It’s the whole equal and opposite force thing worked out centuries ago... certainly not political opinion
  5. It’s amazing that hydroplanes float and planes fly with Gravois physics.... We are not talking about buoyancy while in motion, that is the difference. A flat bottom has better displacement properties at rest. The tunnel works only in motion. If the discussion was floating the shallowest the flat bottom wins.
  6. Techno speaking, the wetted surface area on the tunnel hull is greater than a same width flat bottom. The tunnel is area in addition to forming the plume that allows higher engine positions. hydrodynamics is a thing.
  7. It CAN be cheaper. Prices are exploding now. CU acknowledged upcoming investigations into price gouging in their press conference today.
  8. Rolling blackouts with gas wells freezing. Thank heavens we are going green.... I don’t recall the coal plant freezing up....
  9. Agreed
  10. There is a line between having beliefs and opinions and just being an a-hole.
  11. You don’t say..... couldn’t have guessed that there would be gaps in understanding on something rushed to market like this. part of me wonders if focusing the vaccine on the older isn’t a way out of law suits while the “close the gaps” before vaccinating younger with more time to sue.
  12. I’m seriously considering buying a roughtech tikka for myself. His t3 is impressive and fun to shoot.
  13. The Hornady eld is pretty amazing. 100 match is sub moa with 11 year old on the trigger. We have shot 100 and 143s. All recipes were good. Some exceptional. Doesn’t seem to care about jump either.
  14. it’s just of 65 in Springfield. https://www.google.com/search?q=Boat-WrX+Springfield&ludocid=7361090902059342110&ibp=gwp;0,7&lsa=CAAQAg&lsig=AB86z5VZYz4ImwSsHi1zRLczlzWc&ei=-h4gYI26GNSP9PwPgr2PyAI#
  15. There are places in Missouri that don’t have a boot print let alone a camera. Even more remote areas in the western US. I don’t think there are/is any, still can’t be certain.
  16. Believing in is different than believing it’s possible. As our oldest began doubting in Santa and the Easter bunny he dropped something on us I’ll never forget. Asked him what he thought about the Easter bunny, he said maybe it’s a dude in a bunny suit but it didn’t make any sense and didn’t seem possible. Of course we were ready to articulate that it was indeed a myth to have a rabbit that hides eggs. He spun us a different direction when he said “ you know what I do believe in, Bigfoot “. left us pondering how to definitively disprove Bigfoot. To this day, I can’t make a definitive argument that there is no such thing... Would love to hear a solid argument that it isn’t possible. Personally I don’t THINK there is however, I can’t factually state there is not a Sasquatch

    Wyoming

Looking to do an antelope hunt. Son is old enough and beyond interested enough. lost my only preference point by not applying a couple years back. Anyone here have successful experience with Wyoming’s draw process? as it stands, I’m leaning towards paying for a trespass fee hunt in the Gillette area as the private land tags have good odds. I’d like to hear others experience. We are leaning towards buying deer and elk points too to bank for the future.
  18. The border is rough. Amistad or falcon. Big weights come with elevated lake levels there. I’d let that factor into the decision. Rayburn does seem to show off on televised tournaments.

I get the gist of the point however, unless we are talking trains or trade lingo, Engineer is a degree....

Can you elaborate on where one might go for organic chemistry and statistics training outside of a classroom/lab setting?

  22. 100% agreed here. Redhead wasn’t in the same league as cabela’s branded gear. Hats, boots, anything wearable was hands down better from cabelas.
  23. My ultrex foot pedal is crazy similar to my fortrex but steers a little easier. IMO spot lock is the single best thing that has happened to fishing equipment in my lifetime. From the first launch, it becomes second nature to use the lock function. It’s awesome
  24. If anyone has bought good hooks, they’ll see why heads are high. add a little markup for time and $1 per ain’t hard to exceed. cheap hooks are....cheaper
