I am making a run down to LOZ Tuesday and Wednesday. Anybody been fishing for Crappie? How is the bite and what depth? Will be putting in down by the Dam.
Thanks
Anyone watch the Bowl. I did not but got a phone call that they sang some kind of other national anthem. Did They?
Were they kneeling for this also? Or just the American National Anthem.
Then There was the Halftime Show, Got another phone call. Which I did not watch.
Did not watch the UN-American and have not watched since the first Kneeling.
Interesting, I plan on doing/trying some morels and oysters this year myself. Mainly due to the woods are getting harder and harder for me to go looking for them. Have plenty of woods for a back yard and will try and get some started this spring
G Loomis makes a 6' rod still and Kistlers are all excellent, Give them a call and talk to them.
I had the same problem a couple years ago. as I broke a 6' loomis, They replaced it for 80 bucks.
I like the shorter rod for topwater, and have a 5'6'' for that and the 6 loomis for casting up under brush, buzzbaits, swimbaits and spinnerbaits.
Has anyone on here come up with a separate retracting pole, with a handle, for their Livescope. I need a design to build, that retracts easily. Separate from the trolling motor.
Love Sam Rayburn. It can fish really good one day and the next not so good.
Biggest Big Bass Tournament on there is in April. That would be Bob Sealy's Big Bass Splash. 3 days, 8 hourly payouts, sometimes 1000 to 2000 boats. Huge lake.
When we were kids and go on Camping trips we saned for bait. We always got mussels also. Grand Dad would shuck them and clean them and then fry them up in his special batter. They were really good, from what I remember.
I know you cannot plant Jalapeno and Serreno peppers next to bell peppers unless you want hot bell peppers. Did that 1 year. What else will the hot peppers cross pollinate with in the garden.?
