Having caught thousands of suckers that looks a bit much, ..... right up there with DuPont Spinners, fish traps, tremble nets... we will get it done on your terms, seen a place Friday with Hog Suckers, White Redhorse, yellow suckers and White (blue)suckers...catch able on worms or corn if you can keep the trout and blue gill off em.
  3. sorry Pete, memories are something like my eye sight...fading fast LOL
  4. You folks shelling out 40k a year for Mizzou, could you please adopt me? The Estimated cost for Mizzou is $27, 964 https://admissions.missouri.edu/costs/ The estimated cost of Missouri State is $28, 502 http://www.missouristate.edu/costs/undergraduate-costs.htm So much for the big savings....I have degrees from both schools so not bashing either. I also know that it can be done for much less if you do not want to mortgage your life. My niece just graduated from Mizzou she lived in a suite with 4 bedrooms each with a private bath a common area kitchen and living space, pool, tennis...nicer than any resort I have ever stayed at. She went to Florida each year on spring break she has a huge loan to repay. I lived in an old trailer house with roommates, worked, cut wood anything to make a buck every off hour and break thank God for for Taco Tico 5 tacos for a buck....but no student debt.
  5. My recently verified notes say, 3.3 gauge ht. 100.3 CFS is the min for low drag Brown Branch to 125 or bridge on Sam Day road so Al's rule of thumb of 100 cfs rules again. Today at 2.7 and 57.4 cfs would be a good wade trip or exercise if you take a canoe
  6. My future looks sad. Memories?? Memories??? Maybe it comes in spray?
  7. My eyes are not what they used to be. I have three T/C Hawken Muzzle loaders,(.54, .50, .45) I hate to put fiber optics on them, just do not like the looks or cost. But am having trouble lining up the black "iron" sights. Thinking of putting dots of paint to make a 3 dot system. Has anyone had success with the sight paint. So far am looking at 3: https://www.amazon.com/Truglo-Paint-Ghost-Glow-Multiple/dp/B000BHNO46/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1503574911&sr=8-4&keywords=truglo+sight+paint https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071NQNZ13/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A13BJ3OYX8P5DW&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004K56TS8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A2JPOX2BZ8SWVY&psc=1 Has anyone tried something that works or does not or other ideas? I know that I should go to a inline with a scope.... Thanks.
  8. Hey Hey! She is someones Mother, Sister, Girlfriend... Ex-Wife.... Shoot I could be related to her......at least Hydro did not mention names. Everyone knows those folks up at LOZ are more sufisticated then usins down south......
  9. Dang deer have attacked mine, the only thing safe are the Jalapenos they do not eat. The bell peppers they leave the peppers alone but eat the leaves, the tomatoes they eat the top of the plants and blooms off and I have quit getting any ripe ones, eat the sides out of cukes. They have to walk thru 6 ac of clover and johnson grass to get to it....... I give up.
  10. It was not effective for me or my bird dog......
  11. you use the shims on the motor, move from bottom of impeller to top to reduce clearance, your impeller needs some filing, I use a hand file as afraid of ruining impeller, Pros like Wrench can likely use power tools. hard to tell on cup wear from photo, see one pretty big nic. I would try sharpen shim on impeller, your grates look pretty good from what I see. Wrench is much more knowledgeable than I.
  12. If the pump has been recently rebuilt it is likely fine. Each year I sharpen/straighten the grates, sharpen the impeller, check the liner and adjust the shims to 1/32 of an inch (.03125) (a heavy piece of paper). I also take EVERYTHING out of the boat and reload just what is needed, things seem to accumulate. Distribution can also be key. Not sure what size boat you are pushing, I run a 20x42 glass river boat with a merc 25, it is not fast but does fine. That said those Tohatsu 25 jet drives are sweet, but pricey
  13. Might check the Pomme forum, White's Marine puts lots of them on the water up there, they appear good from what I see.
  14. "Fishing is a great hobby,.....????? Come on man it is much more serious than that! OAF is a great resource.

  18. Was supposed to have an appointment today but my Doc ended up in the ER herself, the other two were in surgery...
  19. Thanks, to all. One of our Forum Brothers set me up with one. It is the type that the rods on top go into the scupper holes on a SOT. It is perfect, all I had to do is air up the tires. He explained how to use it, and demonstrated a one man loading technique. Now just get well enough to use it. Dr. Apt. next Thursday.... Hope and Pray. Thank You OA Brother!
  20. That is the exact one i have saved and am considering. Thanks.
  21. With my medical issues continuing to improve my thoughts are focused on getting out soon, likely with restrictions and limitations. I am considering one of those carts you strap your boat to portage it and your equipment. Any experience ideas or suggestions appreciated. Thanks
  22. Good man, the world is a lesser place without him. Prayers for his family.
