  1. I have done several, G-Flex is the ticket for epoxy, West Marine has several videos, usually with shipping Jamestown Distributors is less expensive with shipping. Depending on the size needed either Amazon or Ebay for kevlar felt, your appears large so will need a longer felt. You will put a layer or two of gflex on the "wound" before laying down the felt it will take up the space. I usually heat treat to open the pours so far no failures, some white water guys criticize kevlar for weight, 3-4 oz for years of wear...wears like iron with the gflex. Lots of good videos out there, I like putting plastic wrap over for a smooth finish, saves sanding. I am a hack, so most anyone can do it.
  2. I run a Alweld 2052 that is @Ham waldo twin sister gracie, like wise much smaller motor.. 50/25 jet, if enough water to cover top of your shoes it will go with two people. That said, not sure of the water you are running, big rocks can be brutal on your boat. I keep a 20' Champion for my lake use, but sure the Alweld could handle quite a bit. I have seen them boys in the pacific northwest run deep v with jets......
  3. @JestersHK In Jupiter go eat at Jetty's, good food, decent prices and sometimes bump into players.....
  4. Showed Griz Jr. He shoots 2-3 nights a week. He thought they were great, simply does not have the funds or they would be gone.
  5. Daryk unfortunately you will never be "back to where" you were before the event, sorry but it is true. You will have to establish a "new" normal and build from there. Each person is different, and copes differently. Have had flashbacks from the 70's three times in the past week due to random events. PTSD can be difficult, and hard for lawyers to collect on, physical ..... will get better, but as you mature (age) you will get reminders. I am more accurate than the Weather Channel...keep working it will be better.
  6. Pretty sure I am safe, can’t catch one every day🤪

  15. Maybe I can get those oars picked up from Mr. Jackson????? Fly fishing, fly tying show returns March 11 in Clinton News-Leader Staff A fly fishing and fly tying show is returning to the Ozarks in March. The annual Tri-Lakes Fly Fishers club-sponsored event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 11 at the Benson Center in Clinton. Admission, parking and workshops are free for folks in attendance. The club’s show has been attracting fly fishing enthusiasts since 1997, according to a news release from the Tri-Lakes Fly Fishers. Nationally recognized fly tier and river guide Brian Wise will host workshops throughout the day. Some 40 other fly tiers from across the country will also be exhibiting their flies and teaching techniques. Vendors will display fly fishing and outdoor gear while raffles, silent auctions and drawings commence. There will be a live auction consisting of rods, reels, guided trips and more. The day is an opportunity to acquire some quality equipment or the fishing trip of a lifetime at bargain prices, the news release stated. The Tri-Lakes Fly Fishers group is based in Bolivar and meets on the first Monday of each month at the El Rodeo Restaurant in Bolivar. Dinner is usually at 6 p.m. with a short business meeting at 7 p.m., followed by a program about fly fishing or fly tying. The club leases a pond for its members to fish and hosts regular fishing outings at various locations for the membership. All those interested in fly fishing and tying are invited to join the club. For information, contact Nick and Sandy Halteman at 417-646-5568.

  17. Was on several news outlets https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2023/01/17/freshwater-fish-forever-chemicals-pfos-pfas/11068366002/ This is way above my skill set, hoping some more enlightened can shed light? @Terrierman @Johnsfolly @Ham I have eaten enough that I have already been poisoned beyond repair.
  18. I have not attended a game since Mizzou fired Norm. Watch very little, but bought tickets for Wednesday.....for my wife and son.

  20. Dutch, I have a much older AGM would love to trade, sure I have a core or two if we can make a deal. Those sound better than mine.
  21. unfortunately I am afraid he may be the more mentally stable one......😇
  22. As @Dutch says Aurora Canvas is not cheap, but good. @Terrierman and I have used Deans in Mountain Home with great results, (have one built in 1987 that still is perfect) about half the price of Aurora Canvas BUT they are currently covered up building seats for Vexas. A former part of the Deans family makes custom covers most of the locals use http://www.bridgeportcanvas.com/ down side is each is custom built and they are in Mountain Home. Last cover I dropped the boat off at 8, went fishing for the day with one of the locals from this forum, picked boat up at 5, came home fits perfect.
