  1. Great report. Thanks
  2. Happy Birthday and many more.
  3. Haven't been on the forum in a few weeks and just saw this. Shocked and saddened to hear this. I had the pleasure of spending the day with Buster probably over 20 years go on Table Rock on a guide trip while we were at Big Cedar for spring break. Buster and I hit it off from the beginning when he found out I was from Oklahoma and he told me he was an Okie as well. I learned a ton on how to fish a stickbait watching Buster that day. He showed me some of his Rogues that were painted and the longer bills he and Tim Sainato were putting on them. I think it was kind of a secret at the time but he had to show me what they had. We didn't catch many that day but still had great time. I saw him again a year or so later when I fished in a Central Pro Am as a non boater on Table Rock. He remembered me and was friendly as could be. Invited me to practice with him on the next Central Pro Am derby at Table Rock. RIP Buster. Blessed to have spent some time with you.
  4. Saw where Randy Blaukat is no longer working with Bait Wrx/Boat Wrx.
  5. Nice! Good day on the water.
  6. I did my reel trade in OKC. The guy at the counter didn’t seem to know for sure but didn’t think Shimano was included since they haven’t been in the past. Was looking at getting a Shimano Vannford spinning reel. Going to go back and try again.
  7. That's good to know Bill. I did a reel trade in last week and asked the guy at the counter if Shimano was included and he didn't think it was. Might go back and trade another and ask again.
  8. Agree. Tim painted quite a few of my old Rogues and came up with the iconic Table Rock Shad color, so I’m told. Still use some of the ones he painted.
  9. Great job. Always feel warmer when you are catching them.
  10. Congrats to you and Becky. Great location and view. 👍
  11. Doubt any will return to MLF. Especially Christie with a Classic win a two other wins.
  12. Nicely done.
  13. Man that looks tasty! Good luck at deer camp.
  14. Glad you are enjoying your retirement. You have earned it. Stay safe.
  15. A drive but Bass Boat Technology in Tulsa is hard to beat. Experts on the units and installation.
  16. All is well here Champ. Hope you and Donna are doing well on the water and the links.
  17. This: Awesome hooks! Gamakatsu G Finesse trebles are the best substitute I have found for Daichi Death Traps. Size of trebles depends on what size WTD bait you are working.
  18. Happy Birthday Bill and many more.
  19. Great report. Nice being on the water with no boats out.
  20. By the way, if anyone watches the Bass Talk Live YouTube channel, Frank Scalish was on today and had a great session on the Rogue. Very interesting and great info.
  21. I have some Tim Hughes custom painted Rogues in clown, foiled clown, and Table Rock Shad. Still look great. Yes, I have several Devils Horse topwater baits and still use them occasionally. Can be killer around docks in the spring.
  22. Anyone still throwing the Rogue? I have a boxes full of Megabass 110’s, Spro McStick’s, etc., but I still like throwing the old Rogue some. They are harder to throw and the the action is different but they are still fish catchers. I think they have improved their components and paint jobs some and even added the Elite 8 and Elite 10 to get down deeper. Guess I am sentimental about the old Rogue. Caught some of my best stickbait bass off that old school bait.
  23. Happy New Year!
  24. I had a Duckett Crankin 7’ rod but it had the micro guides. Rod was ok but hate the tiny micro guides. Sold it and don’t have anything but Falcon and Dobyns. Both are great to work with any warranty and exchanges.
  25. I have a couple of the Falcon Squirrel Tail spinning rods and love them. Very versatile and light with great action. Highly recommend.
