  1. I don’t find it interesting at all. At least in the NFL the players are playing against other great players. In the NCAA we crown national champions that play teams that could be beat by some of our local high school teams. But obviously some people love it and that’s good for the sport.
  2. This is the one I was referring to. I heard he fell out of the tree but was never really sure about that and didn't want to ask the question of those that knew. Just going off the kid rumor mill.
  3. I heard one fell out of a tree and accidentally shot himself. Young guy too.
  4. Yeah well he's trying to figure out how he reported a topic. Seems like it's more than just a simple fat finger too. I really don't know. I can understand the frustration with Alabama. And it's not all on them, but teams like them are the reason I don't care for college football or really any college sports. Even high school sports are far more entertaining than anything the NCAA produces.
  5. Never give up.
  6. Nice looking boat. So what's the verdict? I know you spent some cash on it and won't be too harsh but it would be great to hear from somebody on them that isn't trying to sell one.
  7. In the box where you add your comments you can either drag a image file into it or click where it says "choose files". If you click on choose files that will open up a window on your computer where you can find and click on the image you want. Then click on open in the lower right corner and it will upload the image to the site. Then just click on the + sign on the image and it will add it to your post wherever your cursor is at.
  8. True. Some of them are even better.
  9. What’s wrong with a good fat joke?
  10. I’d enjoy it more if you would just send me a dozen.
  11. It’s not the people you post about that we have disrespect for.

    What's Cooking?

That's my recipe but it doesn't have the magic part. I usually make these late at night. They were created one Christmas Eve. Okay it took me a few years to get it where I wanted it. But after I get them in a pan I let them rise. Then I stick them in the fridge overnight. Next morning pull them out and let them rise another hour or two. Yes two. And they will get huge. Now they are ready to cook.
  13. That sounds good. Too bad Ill be in Raleigh.
  14. Well mine isn't going to pluck a goose but I'm still happy to have her. Not knocking it, I know it works for a lot of folks, but we never understood the his and hers accounts. There is one fund, ours. Bonus is that we never fight about money. I'm keeping back what needs to be kept and they can blow the rest. I don't care. And they usually do.

    What's Cooking?

I freaking love cinnamon rolls. I'd probably eat them no matter what too. Try these sometime. The Cinnamon Rolls Ingredients YEAST MIXTURE ⅓ cup very warm water 1 package active dry yeast ¼ teaspoon sugar DOUGH MIXTURE ½ cup sugar ⅓ cup buttermilk (room temperature) ½ cup whole milk (room temperature) 6 tablespoons butter, melted 2 tablespoons canola oil 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 4 cups all-purpose flour FILLING MIXTURE 1 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon ½ cup butter, melted Nuts (optional) CREAM CHEESE GLAZE 4 oz. cream cheese, softened ¼ cup butter, melted 2-4 tablespoons milk 1½ cups powdered sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla extract pinch of salt (optional) Instructions In a measuring cup stir together water, ¼ teaspoon sugar, and yeast. Let mixture sit for a few minutes until it is puffy and foamy. Pour yeast mixture into a large bowl. Add in ½ cup sugar, buttermilk, whole milk, melted butter, canola oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until combined. Mix in salt and baking powder. Gradually mix in the flour a little at a time, using just enough so that the dough pulls from the sides of the bowl. Once dough has formed place the ball of dough into a large, lightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and place the bowl in a warm location. Let sit for about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size. Gently punch the dough down a few times to release the air. Sprinkle a work surface lightly with flour and turn dough onto floured surface. Knead the dough gently a couple of times and then pat the dough into a rectangle that is about ¼ inch thick. Brush the dough with half of the melted butter. In a small bowl mix together brown sugar & cinnamon. Sprinkle on half the brown sugar mixture. Brush again with butter and finish with remaining brown sugar mixture. Starting from the end furthest from you, begin tightly rolling up the dough. When done, place the roll seam-side down, and carefully slice the roll into 12 (1½-inch) sections. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan, sides touching. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm location to let rise. Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until sides of cinnamon rolls are lightly golden. While rolls are cooking, prepare the glaze by combining all cream cheese glaze ingredients in a bowl until smooth and silky. When cinnamon rolls come out of the oven, let cool for a few minutes and then spread on the glaze. You're welcome.
  16. They don't want the peasants getting out of control.
  17. I thought she had a job?
  18. I asked the Chief of Police if I could fly mine in town and take pics of the football game. Not directly over the field. Not low enough for anyone to notice. He told me he could probably keep me from being arrested but he couldn't stop any officer from having a whole bunch of questions for me.
  19. People think you are going to be spying on them. Hovering over their teenage daughter while she is out sunbathing. Looking in windows. But it can also be a nuisance. You have to make sure it's legal where you are at. I took mine to the beach last summer thinking it would be nice to fly around. But there were so many already that it was a bit annoying. I'm not trying to interrupt anybody's good time or spy on them. I think if they took a look at the footage that most are able to capture they wouldn't freak out so much.
  20. That's a PDF file. That's why it won't post as an image.
  21. Yep. A bright day with low water would be best. Maybe I can buzz some shufflers while I'm at it.
  22. I've seen warning signs up around the dam is the only reason I ask. If you don't do it I might come down in a couple of weeks and do it.
  23. Everyone learns the hard way!! You can use it and it does help but you are going to spend some time getting it rinsed.
  24. Fail. That's when it starts to get fun. Fuel, tackle, fees. It's got to be in there. The only thing I never included was food. I'm going to eat regardless. Trust me.
  25. Do you think they would give permission to let someone fly a drone there to get an overhead view?
