  1. It's not just bait companies or this industry. Consolidation is happening all around us. The company I work for is buying up smaller companies at an alarming rate. And even though it's great job security for me it's not the best thing for those employees.
  2. If you want to wonder why something is not on the news then you should think about an abandoned car that was picked in Lake of the Ozarks this week that was full of ammunition, cash, a bunch of different passports, and a bunch of stolen credit cards. It was a rental car that had been paid for with one of the stolen credit cards. But you hear nothing about this in the news.
  3. It's been all over the news here. These were not geniuses that knew what they were after. Just your normal retarded Springburg thief that will screw up soon enough and be going to prison for a really long time.
  4. Somebody broke into some trailers and the guns just happened to be there. It wasn't the only thing stolen. They just got lucky. Well until they catch them and then they will be unlucky,
  5. We need to make this happen next year.
  6. Interesting. Not the MoCarp part but some of these carp forums are interesting. Seem like some good guys with some good knowledge on the subject.
  7. Ive got to sell my Olympic recurve first so I can get a proper bowfishing setup. There are a lot of good ones in area lakes that I'm going to start eradicating.
  8. I just joined the Bowfishers Association. It's free by the way and I encourage everyone to join. https://www.bowfishingassociation.com/
  9. I've used glass rattles in shrink tubing to protect it as well as attach it to the hook.
  10. So much interest and so many people carp fishing yet he is the only one posting this garbage.
  11. Cots are nice if you have the room to haul them. I just use a inflatable mattress from Walmart. Sleep very comfortably.

    What's Cooking?

Last night was the annual Pizza & Pumpkins party.
  13. The ads inside the topic are not the problem. It's the redirects to other pages that was the issue. But I haven't seen it lately.
  14. I'd rather paddle than listen to the noise of a gas powered weed eater.
  15. Sorry I've been busy and havent been in much. But I haven't had the issue.

    What's Cooking?

    Paranoia will destroy ya.
  17. Probably about time to upgrade the Blackberry Mitch.
  18. Correct. I have only seen it from my phone. I've cleared my cookies and shut my phone down and cleared my history and it appears to go away for awhile and then it comes back. And I haven't seen it on any other sites I visit with my phone.
  19. There it is!! I never get it on my computer but still occasionally on my iPhone using Safari. It's really sporadic and never comes up on any other websites.
  20. I agree. I fished a lot of those same tournaments in the past. But I'm still guessing that's what his answer will be. It will be a few weeks probably before I see him but I'm still going to ask the questions and plant the seed. I heard the other day they averaged a little over 100 boats per tournament this year so at least they should have some good insight on this.

  22. I'm going to ask one of the guys that runs a big tournament circuit and see what his thoughts on that are. I do know they like the big crowds at the weigh ins and the big hero poses with the fish. And I'm pretty sure that's what the sponsors like too and that's probably where the problem begins.
  23. So many things wrong in that video. So glad I don't have to fish like that.
  24. Man I would really like a madtom or two for my aquarium. I had one a few years ago and it was a really cool fish. That and a logperch is on the list of wanted aquarium fish.
  25. Yep. Equipment does not make a fisherman. And you still see more cheap boats than expensive ones everytime you go.
