    EV ?

Friend of mine took me out for a ride in this last week. We used autopilot which worked well out on the highway but not so good in the neighborhoods. We also went to a store to pickup some stuff and then summoned it to pick us up at the door. That is very sketchy. It has no gear shift or any other things inside. Just a steering wheel, gas pedal, and brake pedal that you rarely use. Everything else is controlled on the computer screen. And I mean everything. Oh and I have been in some fast cars. I have had some really fast cars. The best man from my wedding drives a top fuel dragster. I know what fast is. And that is the fastest street car I’ve ever seen. It’s scary fast. From zero to 120+ was nothing. Huge price tag though.

    No
  3. Some of the best days are when it's hot. And it's going to feel a lot cooler at the river.
  4. Hobby Lobby has a lot of good stuff. It's like stepping into a time machine but that's cool too. The last craft fur I bought from them looked awesome but became very fragile when wet. Let us know how that one works. It looks awesome.
  5. That's interesting. Last week I heard a podcast about the differences in sunscreen in the USA compared to sunscreen available in other countries. I guess other countries have better options that aren't all greasy and nasty to use. I wonder if those would be different to your skin.
  6. This lake has always had a good hot weather topwater bite. A chug bug around that big rock around the corner was always a must.
  7. We went to Stockton with some friends on Saturday. No fishing, they are just boat people. We all four went to high school together. We were looking for a place to anchor up and swim but the wind was making that a challenge. We finally chose to tie to a tree. Clean area with a big old tree and deep open water out if front of us to float in. We were probably twenty yards off the bank. His wife says aren't we a little close to the shore? And he told her it was far enough. My wife asked her what was wrong with being close to the shore and her friend told her that the snakes won't get too far from the shore and that they are scared of deep water. I looked over at her husband and he is giving me the silent NO hard. But it was too late. The next thing you hear is my wife telling her she was an idiot. Our chicks are gullible, but cute.
  8. My wife is not happy about your recommendation about now. But I almost have her talked into going. She's such a chicken. She's afraid if she goes to Canada a bear will get her.
  9. I can introduce you to several that do. I used to fly a pirate flag on my canoe all the time. It might not make much sense but it beats the hell out of all the rednecks driving around "pulling" a Trump flag. We tried to burn the edges of my pirate flag one night in camp to give it an authentic pirate look. You know like in the movies. Yeah it just melted. No matter how much alcohol we dumped into our mouths we just couldn't get the look we were trying for. LOL.
  10. Ok but if we are going to get rid of all these things can we start with the trout?
  11. At least Oklahoma is trying something.
  12. Saw some guys with a 20+ bag on Stockton get 2nd recently. I never fished TR well so I would always go north.
  13. I'm sure there are a lot less people through there. I haven't seen any of the water from Hootentown to Kerr in probably 20 years. I need to change that.
  14. I've had the same thing going on for a few years. I can get a bass to eat a floating worm about anytime I want, but I have a hard time sticking them enough to keep them on. I'm pretty sure it's the rod but I hate to give it up.
  15. Most of these stretches have a ton of boats on them anymore. Yeah they aren't all fishing but a bunch of them are. With the low water on the upper areas I think I would choose Shelvin to Hooten right now between those two. The Finley dumps in on that stretch and that area always fishes well this time of the year. You also have some smaller spring fed creeks that come in as well. I don't know how far below Hooten you have been going but Kerr to Galena has good water right now. Galena to Blunks should be good too with much less people. If you are interested mostly in fishing there are some good spots to paddle upstream from and fish back. Those areas see a lot less people. It can be a huge pain in the arse though.
  16. Sounds like politicians.
  17. Since the beginning of time.
  18. Not all. Not for everyone.
  19. There was a political forum??
  20. The stick out on some a little better than others. The double barrel popper quality control staff must have been laid off. And the eyes are tiny. I’m not convinced that any eye does anything but I love them and I love them big. These heads have tiny eyes. But it’s what I have to work with until I design my own. I’ll pop a couple in the mail to you and you can tie them up and see what happens. I think I have given them all away again. Back to the fly shop.
  21. A politician on the ball? Never happened. Now if they aren’t getting their cut they will be furious.
  22. Look Wrench!! Googly Eyes!!!
  23. Time for eyes and clear coat.
  24. Finally back to painting.
