All sections have their advantages/disadvantages, I don’t think you can make a bad decision. I know where I would go but it’s only because I know that area the best, which would be no advantage to you.
I used to wake up with an entire volleyball team asleep in my living room. They slept there a lot because they knew I would fix pancakes when they woke up. I made a ton of pancakes but it was something I enjoyed.
Well from my very educated experience it's from a really big object. I hit a huge floating tree on Pomme de Terre one day at close to 70mph. Heck of a ride. It does damage like that too. My sponsor/dad was super proud that day.
Seems like she said something about that when they moved into that neighborhood several years ago. Seems she also mentioned that they restocked it but I don't really know. Hopefully there is something in there to keep him interested. He's only 11 so it won't take much.
What do you know about Old Longview Lake?
My little sister and husband just built a new house on that lake and I talked them into buying my nephew a kayak. They know nothing about fishing but he loves it. Just wondered if there is anything decent in there for him to catch.
I'm going to let that first one slide because you have obviously never seen me cast a flyrod. I'm thinking that your skills are better than mine.
And yeah I toss most of them back too. I'd rather not clean another fish in my life so I don't keep many. But I do like catching them more than most other fish. Save those goggle-eye for summer and go have some fun.
We will have fun. It's the best time you can have.
If catching a bunch of fish that are more fun to catch than any junk trout is a horrible experience then you have no idea. all you need is a handful of clousers and a 5wt. Many limits have come on that setup.
I'm basically coming to terms without out of necessity. I've got the bug to spend more time fly fishing for smallmouth again. The biggest smallmouth I have stuck with a fly have all hit deer hair bugs. I think if you want a shot at a good smallmouth then you have to come to terms with deer hair. Hopefully this year I will have some results to prove my theory.
Maybe the heads are packed too tight?? Those heads that are packed tight sure are pretty but they take a long time to get good and water logged where they fish well.
Deer hair is tough to love but it gets down just fine if you do it right. But I have this new love for deer hair all of a sudden. Don't know why because I have always hated tying it.
Used to be a guy like that on College St. Every morning on my way to work he would be standing out on the sidewalk drinking coffee and waving at all the cars going by. He would get excited and wave really hard if you waved back. Then one day he was gone and never saw him again.
