  1. I was there a couple of weeks ago and had the same water conditions. I caught several nice fish but I fished hard all day to catch what I did on a variety of flies and techniques. I've seen a lot of posts, similar to yours, and talked to several people that reported similar experiences. I think the number of fish, are still there. However, I think the current water conditions are spreading the fish out all over the lake/river. There are pods of fish, all over the river, you have to cover more water to get to them.
  2. I can identify with this essay. Is this an original? If so, Good Work!
  3. Yes. As far as I could tell.
  4. I'll play. Count me in. I'm game for whatever the group decides.
  5. We were able to fish Saturday, Day and Night and a little on Sunday. We didn't catch numbers, but everyone caught fish. The wives were happy with the fish that they caught and they when shopping Sunday and toured the Winery while we fished. Sunday was a little tougher fishing. We mostly fished down at Outlet 3. I pulled a few nice fish on a Hopper dropper combo in some slack water. There were a couple of guys doing the shuffle and fishing at their feet. They were catching some big trout and thought that they were great fishermen. MDC should make shuffling illegal. (Done with my little rant.)
  6. Thanks, Phil. I'll stop by his shop.
  7. I'm making the drive, from Oklahoma, to do some fishing. Hoping to have some water that I can wade. I'll be fly fishing and my wife is even gonna fish one day with me. It will be fun whether we catch fish or not, but hoping to get on them. Gonna do a little night fishing, also. I plan to be in the water as much as possible. Does anyone know if the local fly shops still sell the Indicators with the Glow Sticks?
  8. I just tried going to the What's Cooking thread and tried going to page 2. I had the same results as Jerry. I think it has something to do with the way the page loads. If you look at the tab, the browser thinks it's done loading the page. But, there's no data on the page, just the "Loading" image. I hit the refresh Icon and it loaded the page.
  9. Nothing has been concluded, as of yet.
  10. If you're not part of the Tulsa Fly Fishers Facebook page, check it out and join. Scott Hood will be posting information on how we can contact your public officials to try and get something done about the LIR. As James alluded to above, it is a sad state of affairs, if you are a trout fisherman. However, it is a hot spot for Stripers right now.
  11. Phil, Message me and I'll be happy to help. Also, if you can tell me what type of Operating System (Windows or Linux) and what database (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) is being used. I'll either need remote access to your system, or I'll have to walk you through the changes over the phone.
  12. Nicely Done!! I like it!
  13. What thermocline? I think they drained it out. Nothing but warm water coming out of the dam.
  14. There are lots of Stripers in the river, right now. However, I was there, today, targeting them and got skunked. The water is a dingy green. It looks just like the water from the upper river that I saw earlier in the year. I guess it finally made it to the lower river. This water smells like the runoff water from the farmers fields that were fertilized with Chicken Crap and that is what it smells like, also. It was very disappointing.
  15. What is the possibility that their stocking numbers are correct and the fish are being seined out of the river, at night?
  16. Nice picture. I had to take a closer look. At first I thought it was Calvin and Hobbes.
  17. I'm using Chrome and have found that if I wait a few seconds and refresh the page, then the page loads. I still get the error but at least it is navigable.
  18. This is Cool! Looks like a great trip!
  19. The first item is a bug that is being worked on. The second item, I haven't looked at.
  20. This isn't the first time that they have been sued. That's why they're insured. They turn it over to their Insurance company to take care of it. In this, particular, case, the person that was hit developed a detached retina. So, there was some pain and medical expenses to cover. I don't really think that it will hurt Lambert's business.
  21. Bought 2 of these Personal Pontoons from a member on the forum. I've had them out 5 times so far and have been able to put myself on fish that I would not have been able to get to otherwise. Caught my Personal Best Bass on the Fly Rod on Saturday. What a Blast! Caught on my #10 Black Betty. She ain't pretty but the Panfish love her.

Pics always help sell. Just saying.
  23. That looks awesome! What hook and size did you use on your GC Hopper?
  24. I'm glad that I read this topic. You guys shared a lot of good information. I have a couple of pontoons and have wondered the same. That's what I like about this forum. Lots of people willing to give good advice. Thanks!
  25. Any idea on how 10 handles legacy applications? We still have some VB6 based applications running in production and they work fine with Windows 7. We are in the process of rewriting them in C# but the completion of that is at least 6 months or more away.
