  1. Another Yozuri Hybrid fan here.
  2. What does making $ have to do with it?
  3. Anderson is a chump. His run and gun style works every so often against teams that don't properly prepare for that style of play but day in and day out you can't run you players like that (big centers and power forwards). Anderson might be better suited as a track coach I think.
  4. Okay that made me laugh. lol.
  5. True....but we are in big trouble for a while I'm afraid. He is a patch fix for a few years and makes the hometowncrowd and older alum's happy by hiring a returning MU prodigal son but he is not the answer. I see about a decade worth of struggles before we rebuild and be somewhat relevant again. Gonna be rough the next few seasons no doubt. My TV may or may not make it through Kim's tenure in Columbia. Sorry for the hijack of this thread.
  6. Anything that imitates a minnow or a dying meal will work year round in just about every body of water on the planet. Big fish eat little fish right?
  7. Jerk baits don't work in April.....everyone knows that.
  8. Lets keep the gloves up Dave. Come on now.
  9. Never trust a Jayhawk, or a guy from Kansas throwing a "Dukie" worm.
  10. Dave actually caught all of his fish on an A-Rig the past few weeks and then just sticks a little rig in their mouth to mess with people on this forum. He is a sick and twisted individual. Nice report btw Dave even if it isn't entirely accurate.
  11. What is your asking price?
  12. I've seen some people have success trolling out of a toon. Don't know if that is your style of fishing as it isn't mine but is can be effective.
  13. Turd worm in my book has always been the fish doc, centipede, etc either split shotted or on a c-rig. If anyone is wondering I invented the Ned Rig back in 1981. NED = Nuttin' Eats Dat (rig).......it was my secret weapon til Dave spilled the beans on me and my rig and now everyone and their brother is throwing it or running my namesake rig through the slander mud on fishing forums.
  14. Great photo. What kind of camera are you using? Also, my grandfather has said that carp are good eating but I don't know about that being their are pretty much a scavenger fish. He also said they have so many bones they aren't even worth cleaning. That is all hearsay from him and I have no actually experience in either eating or cleaning them. But I always took his words as truth.
  15. Got order today. Frank is a great guy to deal with. Went out of his way to pour some plastics in a slightly different color than his standard colors just for me. Top notch and will be coming back to Swing Oil when I need anything. Prices are more than fair! Thanks Frank!
  16. Nice report Champ. Killing me I can't get down there til mid-May. Now is probably my favorite time of the year to fish on the Rock.
  17. That is bad news. Unless your name is Techo....then it's music to your ears.
  18. Dave quit lying about those 18-19" fish. Ned rig only catches small fish everyone knows that. Big fibber you. Nice report by the way. Hope the weather warms up a bit and you really get after them the rest of the week.
  19. Great report, info and pics. I have a go pro and am just messing around with it now. Will be using it next time I head to the Rock which will be for the OBBT in mid May.
  20. Awesome news. Now spill the details on how you nailed the scumbag.
  21. That is the way to go. I too have sanded the paint off them and it beyond sucks. I saw a guy on BBC that used a blaster and it got those old wart blanks clean as a whistle, better than anything sanding by hand could do and I am sure took all of 30 seconds per bait. If you have access to a blaster I would use that.
  22. A car like that should stick out like a sore thumb. Not the best get away car now is it? Hope you find the dirtbag soon.
  23. Our place is in Blue Eye in Beardsley Branch and there will be a mix of both spawning and post spawn. Last year while fishing the OBTT which was the 3rd week of May there were still plenty of fish on beds in the backs of creeks and on the shallow ends of docks. There are always early and late bloomers in the dam area. Uncle about 15+ years ago caught a 8+ lb female LM full of eggs near our place in Blue Eye the first week of June. Some fish are late to the party I guess.
