What goes up must come down. Glad you could see it, total cloud cover here.

AR10 platform is a heavy rifle, not something to pack around in woods. The Grendel gives Creedmore type performance in the lighter 15 frame. Have not really looked, but have not heard prices rising much. Bear Creek Arsenal and Palmetto State are still running ads with good prices, just longer ship times.

CDC faktoid about normal flu, 2% in 100,000 cases. 2018 studies. Local cases resulted in far less death ratio with Covid. And that was strains the vacine was made for. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/flu.htm

You have better balance than I do. I can sit and cast just fine. Just need to get up and stretch my legs some.

What are you after? I am thinking about building a 350 Legend with the Bear Creek Arsenal side slide upper for next deer season. Grandkid is going to need a soft shooter and the ballistics and downrange impact look better that the 300 blk outs I have been building. I really love my 6.5 Grendel 18" build. I really hoped I would get a layoff in this mess to play with the shooters. Ended up working more.

Yep. Nobody said a word when Obama did it because the banks made too many unsecure loans and the housing market crashed. 2008 was a long time ago. We bailed out car manufacturers.

Mine still have color and I use a conditioner, not flyin in the wind like ole Einstein. Just straight and curly, almost a mullet. Like McCartney in the 70's

I prefer a handgun, pretty good at it in short distances for self defense. Can hunt with one in a pinch. But an AR Platform is an ample rifle. Many flavors to fill the needs of what is wanted. It can even fill a shotgun role with the right configuration. AR stands for Armalite Rifle. Libtards use the designation as it is for Assault Rifle. Armalite may take offense.

20 ft narrow jons have been running rivers shallow with props for years. Fiberglass and wood. 1648 is short and wide for stability, takes a whacking on a wake or swell. Cutting the wake on lakes will get you wet, but if you steer into it, it will slide over.

Deer tastes great deep fried. I have to get ear muffs to run my new 2 stroker, its killing my tinnitis from the radiation.

Term limits for Congress and House. 4 years and done. The world would be a better place. No Pelosi, McConnell, or the majority of them. One and done, two at the most. Bunch of do nothing clowns that are running the country. Our Senate and House are a joke, all parties.

Functional and stable. Took that idea off the fiberglass river skiffs on the White. -

Beverage holders. I have the stuff to make the trap door for the front compartment. Wrench, notice the extinguisher is moved back by the flammables now. -

I added 2 new Type 27 batteries, boxes, new 9 gallon gas tank with hose, bilge pump. Swapped the trolling motor out with the 45 lb thrust one off my big boat, moved the mounting system. Added a spider seat for the second or third passenger. New wheels and 6 ply tires, spare tire, bearing buddies. Cheap onboard battery chargers with quick detach plug from Harbor Freight, had them on sale this month for $23 each. Tool kit with tools from Harbor Freight in a nice black waterproof box. Some bright reflective marker stripes for visibility. Now I need to buff the boat and see if I like the stock faded color or add some paint. Still deciding on whether to put a perf floor on it or just Rhino line it. Needs something inside for noise. Front deck is roomy with my crook neck base on it. The whole boat is stable, my bumblin butt can stagger around and still feel stable. -

It has been consuming alot of time this spring. But it was something needed for several years. Lake fishing is ok, but I love rivers. Lack of time and shuttles require a jet boat to do the trick. The thing really runs when it is just me in the boat. But with two, it does the job. It will go with me when I make my Spring River trips, hit the 11 pt on the way back. Always have a whole day after I leave my buddies to fish and drive by it. Now, I can drop the boat in and fish. May drop it in the Current also if not on a busy weekend. Don't want to get run over by all of the big boats there. -

Added a few more things and adjusted the motor up some. Ran her 3 times now on the St Francois in the last few weeks. With the current setting, she planes out and runs about 18 mph down stream. I tried it about a half inch higher but she started cavitating. Backed the motor back down and have decided to lock it in to the transom with some lags. This weekend the lake was almost normal and the river was up a foot running 1300 cfs. Played around in some chutes with my buddy that likes to get wet. Took some hits on logs and found my shallow spot. Its light enough to push off gravel without much effort. Looking at a straight edge that levels with the bottom of the boat, the leading lip is slightly above the point. That is where I was aiming for. -
I really considered that, but I am the first male in a long line that still has a full head of hair at my age. Last crew cut I had was when I was about 10. I made it thru cancer with all my hair except losing the ones on my tongue, and a few patches on chin and back of neck. But, I need a grooming.

I always try to back the boat up close to the room. Depends on the motel. Almost all have a place to charge. Boat cover helps, I always carry a cheap one, helps keep the interior dry if a rain comes in. Rods and tackle off the boat, boxes locked, keys out of the boat. Trolling motor lock if quick release. Trailer hitch lock even at ramps. Don't want to come back to ramp and no trailer.

Got to have taller sides and a semi v to cut waves on a lake with traffic and wind whipped waves.

On a lighter note, I am glad they are opening up here next week, I need a haircut. The back of my hair is curling up, have not seen that since High School when the Beatles were in style. I was due for a cut 7 weeks ago.

Its hard not to be judgemental when you realize right from wrong. The Old Testament was very loose at allowing a person to pass judgement. Ten Commandments. Judging who goes where after they leave here is not our decision.

That needs to be a movie. Bet that stung.

Norm did not make it thru his cancer and passed a few years back. Maybe someone else can come up with something.
