  1. Everything is getting a severe pounding this year. All of the outdoors are getting it. Nothing seems to be a quiet getaway. And after a week of dealing with all of the stupid people that are getting dumb downed again from the subliminal ads prior to the election, I want solitude time with family. Dad let a neighbor swim and camp overnight at our place a month ago, now I am breaking up a migrant camp tomorrow with a camper and 5 tents. Sis told me there was a crowd gathered there along with the other mess. I have a new AR that needs some bullets run thru it.
  2. Made my run today after work. Found ammo for the new rifle, neds, new rod and reel for Grandson, and steaks for the grill. But, shelves are bare in spots. Stuff flying off shelves as fast as they can stock it. Economy is great, consumers flush with cash and retail is up sky high. Restaurants, theaters, and certain others suffering. Try finding a new TV, fridge, or freezer. Lumber going sky high and building material shortages along with gardening supplies.
  3. The bass boat on a ramp has a gas motor, is that not against their beliefs?
  4. That just came to mind after a trip to 11 PT a few weeks back. The boot cleaning station was dry and not being used. Another knee jerk reaction blown out of proportion.
  5. Should be ok during the week. Gets pounded hard by pleasure boats on the weekend. The out of work Covid people have been crowding it also, so I heard.
  6. Dad is still kicking, but he passed me a Herters Bamboo he never used a few years ago. My grandparents left me an old S W Pistol, Remington .244, Marlin 30-30, and a couple of other guns. I have some beekeeping veils, and various stuff from my Maternal Grandpa. And lots of memories of both. I had a Great Uncle that was special, I have a Herters Bamboo from him and several old glass bait casting rods. Knives and misc other memories of him. My Uncle that really taught me how to shoot and reload, I have many of his old things. My best friends Dad gave me a knife he made, handle of deer that I harvested and several old decoys. I spent alot of time fishing with him while his sons were away at Med School. They all have a place in my special memories.
  7. Its always a fun trip when you can catch a smallie and a white bass on the same trip.
  8. I was informally invited to the Black Lives Matter, Police rallly, and Christian Prayer rally in Madison County today scheduled for Wed. Just picked up some fresh rounds for the new AR build. Thinking about a 4th rally, show of 2 Amendendment.,,,,
  9. Thats alot of stiff fish in those pics....
  10. Having a good weekend with the biological offspring of good Heterosexual couples. Love the grandkids and spoiling the crap out of them.
  11. Good idea, their pagan rituals brought a lot of grief to their society. Need to destroy that culture. And burn down all of it in the United States too. Cairo Il., Egypt Mills, and lots of other places around here named after the Mesopotamian areas.
  12. Yep. But it was an asexual starfish. Something in real life that could do itself and make more. Sponges swing both ways to get the job done. Humans need a different way of thinking. But kids should not have to deal with that part of life until later on in Biology class. Humans need a different way of thinking. One legged penquins don't make it work either.
  13. Watching Sponge Bob tonight with the Grandkid and the sick sexual perverts put up a commercial for Pride Month. Way out of line. Adults can deal with it, but kids??
  14. Gardening has become more popular during these challenging times. Its a Novel approach to feeding one self.
  15. A goat will feed you many more meals than a chicken or a rabbit. Less maint. too.
  16. Me too. I always liked the dark maduros. Just don't have the tongue for it anymore. I still enjoy the smell from my fishing buddies as it drifts back. He still smokes a couple on a trip or around the camp.
  17. You know, when skeered, they spray diarehea on their attackers. Good thing she ducked that one. I love conibears, but they have too many pet side kills. Have to be selective to use them around some of my property.
  18. But the penguin house is a nice cool fishy smelling place to go to on a hot summer day. Funny you picked a penguin, try googling a deviant penguin and see what pops up. I did just to see where you were going with that. I love the zoo in St. Louis, go there at least one time a year. Much better since I came of age.
  19. I doubt you will ever get to go to the zoo again......
  20. But what if you only had to deal with Mercury products all day, every day. Never really got to see anything else.
  21. They announced today that Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam will lose their guns in all future cartoon airings. Looney Toons is too violent. How can you pester the rascally rabbit or Daffy Duck without gunpowder? Gone With The Wind, is too racist and pulled from HBO's film selections. Glad I have Blazing Saddles Tivo'd to show the kids.
  22. The movements toward socialism, aka "Communism" have been going strong lately. Our country has always been freedom and the right to pursue our happiness. Capitalism is a pursuit of happiness, it provides wealth for some and jobs for many. The economy turned for the better when Trump was cleared from impeachment. I have just had my best month of sales in my 18 year career. Better than it was before the crash of 07 - 08. Best thing is, its all private sector. Government projects are slow right now. People are investing in themselves. The fringes that are on the media, they want Socialism. The ones setting on the sidelines and watching the fiasco, they love spending the money they have made.
  23. We do seem to be buffered pretty good here don't we. I run in to alot of bleed over from Illinois in the East part. KY an TN do pretty well too.
