Plenty of water, just have to watch for things sticking up. Current River is good with no restrictions until Big Spring, then it drops to 40hp. Above 2 Rivers it drops down to 25hp. Weekends are crazy and Doniphan area about as bad as LOZ on Saturday's. Sunday is not as bad as long as no Holiday falls on that weekend. Fishing is good. Walleye picks up in Winter, not much this time of year. They are there, but are normally by catches when fishing deep for bass. The gauge there is deceptive, lots of deep water with narrow runs. Only a problem with lots of traffic on water.

Never been to any of the boats for a ride. I have seen footage of them running Tickfaw, they go pretty fast. Local customer out of Farmington runs one too. One of my buddie's boat mechanic builds them on Pickwick, big ole chunk of boat. I never see them running on Pickwick for some reason. All kinds there from little jons and sail boats to cabin cruisers and tugs with barges. But never a race boat.

I was on Clearwater Lake this weekend, Lowrance built in inland maps showed me running in 20' of water and my graph was showing only a few feet. I was seeing timber and switched over to the Navionics chip, it had been corrected since they drained the lake down to keep it from leaking years back. Those maps will get you if you are not paying attention.

Our second cut of hay will be worthless. Driving thru field last weekend with crunching noise under my tires. But, for some reason, our wet spring areas are still wet. I did not dare to venture into them to bush hog. I slipped a tire in places that I don't normally have to worry about in summer. Fall cut 2022, grass never came out of it from last falls drought. Then we had a cool spring that stunted what grass was left. Spring cut was half of normal year.

My tongue does not work like it did. They short changed me, can't get it past my lips any more.......

Several people I know thought the same thing. I looked up at the sun and it was just a hazy glow. Then I realized "I looked straight at the sun".

It's dry, worst I have seen this early in long time. But that smoke has been coming down the pipe for over a month creating that hazy sky. If we pumped that much smoke back across there border, we would have to pay for it. Put those fires out, eh!

Nice day yesterday, got a few drops of rain. Cloud cover keep it cool enough to fish until about noon. Then the North wind kicked up out of the blue and the smoke rolled in. Blotted out the sun, made it hazy all afternoon. The hilltops and valley's were smoky. Today, same thing. Hazy all day then around 4, strong North wind out of the blue for about 45 minutes. Then calm. Goofy weather pattern this summer. Cooled off some this afternoon after that wind blew thru.

Marinating the watermelon in Everclear or Vodka has that effect on people.

We have an ad firm that manages our website entirely, supposedly active targeting our local market based. It is subsidized by our Corp COOP funding as part of our franchise. But I don't think the gain is worth the cost in our area. The leads are less now than what we had when I just let Google do its thing. The upside is they keep up with web changes and all of the secondary sites like FB, Twitter, etc. It let's me do my sales job without messing with all of the rest. But I don't see much increase in sales on their behalf other than targeted brand awareness.
