Pretty good cash for doing nothing but refurbing an old gravel operation along a county road and county bridge. I have used the location to wade fish, pull out from floats above, and put in for floats below free of charge for many years. Probably going on 30 years now.

Wow, my whole fleet, 17.5 08 Tracker Crappie Pro, 16' 89 Panfish Special jet, and 15' Express little jet only cost me around $60 a year in property tax. 3 year boat tags are $31 now, permanent trailer license is around $70, forever one time. I spend more money on batteries, tires, and general maint. than what you are worried about. They are all rigged like I want them. Screw the insurance unless the area where you go requires it. The way I see it, less than one crappy rental boat.

Looks like a hellaovaweekend. We had some good fishing on Sunday, took the grandkid to MDC lake and caught 2 limits of nice bluegill and 4 cats. Weather was perfect this weekend. Low humidity, perfect temps. NO Hurricane Winds.

Since they dropped the water to protect the dam, its half as big as it used to be. And always off color. Never CLEAR. Most blame the Taum Sauk incident. I think it has to do with lowering main pool several feet and wake washing up all of the built up sediment from the years before.
