  1. I got into it for $330 with a pump in the box. Umarex Origin 22. Prices are coming down. They will offer a compressor in the $400 range this year.
  2. Herd back down to 196. Hope they have a good winter.
  3. Sometimes, a little work with a honing stone will work wonders on a trigger. Most production triggers are rough machined messes. But Charlie da Tuna makes some good ones for the springers. I have swapped out all of my triggers on the AR's I own with either low power springs from JT or alternative trigger groups. Makes a difference.
  4. If you get stuck on a shoal, just stand up....
  5. Is it the barrel getting leaded up or the piston setting in to get to normal? Everything needs a break in period to settle down if spring loaded. I had a Stoeger break in and shoot well. Then, one day, I missed a shot I should have made. Set up a bench and a target and started trouble shooting. It had stripped a screw in the forearm and was torquing weird when it discharged. It went back under warranty and was replaced. Never had an issue with the new one.
  6. Doing well. The Panfish Special 16 foot with the Merc 25 jet is getting a makeover. We have fished it for a long time, its in my hands now for a remake over. Been adding my touches to it. The farm has been using up alot of my time also. Work is a bear, busiest year I have suffered thru in a long time. Grandkid number 5 is in the oven and due in July. She was baking it in the deer woods and we did not even know it. They had been trying since last July and did not think it was going to happen. Life is good. Just need more time.
  7. I am still having trouble to find time to play with my Umarex Origin I bought over a month ago. Hunting season, kids, new jet boat build out, refurb old 4 wheeler, and other projects have left it sitting in corner.
  8. That looks kinda like the dogs in my neighborhood, but they don't get hit by paper.
  9. Wild cattle?
  10. Careful, ducks carry the bird flu. It was a killer. Then they tested the ducks for the Avian flu, stuck swabs up their butt at the HQ after you killed them. Ducks are always loaded with lice, they have to carry stuff like ticks do. We just don't know what yet. Someone will come along and weaponize the duck lice and train the ducks to scatter them. Make sure you rinse them good in swamp water to cleanse them.
  11. But that has a skirt in front of it. More of a wavy action. I like it.
  12. Al, I have alot of respect for you. But, I have sense enough to know when I feel bad and would stay away from others if I did. Others don't have to worry about me giving them a dose. The mask is to retard the aerosol spread of the virus particles from mucous and saliva into the air. And retard the aerosol spread from and infected person to others, to some extent. Most maskers don't wear one that really prevents the spread. Its only enough to make them feel correct. Social distance and cleanliness will take care of the rest. If you are sick and feel bad, stay at home and away from others. Don't put on a mask and go out into the world and think all is fine. I am an essential personnel that has been dealing with the public on a face to face basis since day one, bareback. I use distance and wash my hands often, avoid sick looking individuals. I will shake your hand if eye contact allows me to. I am not in the group that is really risky of the worst of cases, but I don't want it. Or any bug going thru the public. I am in no way condoning risky interaction between others, just use the brain and science. Real science, not the Facebook kind.
  13. Not always. We usually catch nice big drum when running the tubes on TN River alongside the smallies. They are working crawfish.
  14. I have found that a good unit with gps helps you find your way back down stream when running shallow. If it worked on the way up and you follow the same little blue line it should be fine going down. Finding fish, its pretty useless. But the map and track line is great. Rivers look different coming the other direction.
  15. My ER Doc buddy went in for his weekly shifts this week, things have picked up. Works Thurs, Friday each week. Big difference in a week I guess.
  16. How many are you building this winter?
  17. I have one of those in the shed somewhere. I need a smaller puck than what came with my last Garmin, 6-7" long. Side image is not really needed anyway.
  18. Mexican gave me the runs the other day. Chinese buffet is still bullet proof.
  19. Maybe they don't want the car to get it. Saw today that more lions got infected. Its bad, really bad.
  20. I need one with a small puck for the jet boat. Going to have to give up side image.
  21. Its like a TV, you can always flip the channel or go piss when the commercial comes on.....
  22. Ran out of gas on the Gas can! What's the rest of the story? We were 5 miles from the ramp on the Duck River 2 summers ago. Engine sputtered. I went in to get drinks and ice and left buddy filling up rig that was almost out of gas. He forgot to check the boat. We floated down stream for a while on trolling motor and came on a house. We bought his mower gas and made it back to ramp.
  23. Ammo of any type or caliber has been in short supply since the riots started back in the summer. Then ole Elmer Fudd and sidekick are threatening to set up shop and tax anything that goes bang.
