100 % raw. Unfiltered is a tricky word in honey. I filter enough to remove the wax capping is all. honey is full of pollen, and it is good for you they claim. Taste is better. When buying honey from the store you really don't know what you are getting or where it is from. Read the label. I am treatment free for my colonies, no poison for mite control. I have never bought a bee. I trap wild feral bees to introduce into my hives. Try to find and support a local beekeeper. If you were close, I would get you hooked on good honey.

Happy thanksgiving to all, Started out the day making a pie. We still had a bunch of butternut squash so decided to use it for a roasted butternut squash pie. This will be dessert. Protein was a sous-vide backstrap roast thanks to Big Louie. This was seared and sliced. You will notice I caught heck for not giving the Mrs. a sharp knife . @tjm A much, much younger BilletHead. Did I go too technology wise for backing my Osage self-bow with sinew and a snakeskin? Then taking my first stone point deer with a head I knapped. This was the first of 7 harvested this way. Truthfully, I would much rather still be hunting this way but because of a totally shot shoulder and age I cannot. So, the Crossbow happened, and I am still going. Should I as a good primitive skills advocate starve myself and not go harvest meat? I used to think compounds were over the top and thought how stupid. I don't anymore and believe do what makes you happy.

I think Ketchup said roost and not nest. Baby turkeys before flight feathers are very venerable for a while and even when they are able to fly cannot get very high for at first. I seen some little ones go to roost and they were about the size of a quail and only got up a foot or two at the most. Those little birds are still easy targets from ground predators.
