I sometimes thirst for knowledge. This discussion gone awary got me to thinking so I gave myself a refresher course on the ice ages. Even looked up the megafauna that was running around during the last one. Man showed up and crossed over in the latter parts of the last ice age. I have a Scottsbluff point that we found. It dates back when there were giant bison still roaming. A minute chance one of the mastodons or mammoth could of still been around. They died out about 11,000 years ago. Scottsbluff points date 9,000 to 11,000 years ago. Amazing stuff. If I remember I might bring along some of our older points to Taney fest. I have done a good job reproducing that point and others. Pretty rusty right now and if I Knapp for you all there I had better brush up on that hobby.
