Another .2”. One of my neighbors must not be living right.

We’ve been plagued with weather threats but much ado about nothing. We’ve had.2” two different times. It is sprinkling now.

Thanks. I figured it was there or the bend north. I used to fish in the Kings a lot but above the 86 bridge. I have very little experience with the main lake in that area.

I would like to try that area and see if it is similar to what Jeff has put me on farther up the lake. I’m not the brightest candle in the Menorah so please be patient with me. I’ve read your post several times while looking at my topographic map. I have no idea where you are referencing. Please elaborate. Thanks

We are around them all the time up James River but never had any bite my baits. What are you using that they like

On a good day we will have one mixed in with the bass. On a lucky day we will get 2 or 3. I wouldn’t call that a bonanza, maybe some day though.

20’ + - is within the accuracy that the government allows. That added to the location of the gps doin the recording can easily make it 40’.

I’ve seen more walleye this year than ever before. I even caught on near Piney which was a first for me. So far my Jeff guide has put me on keepers.

Three vultures flew down to the back of a pocket in front of Jeff and I today. They had white tips on the underside of their wings and tail feathers. It also looked like they had white legs. I don’t remember ever seeing that kind of varmint before.

Perfect eating size.

1 tbl spoon dish soap mixed in 1 gallon of water sprayed on them should kill them.

There can be several causes; calcium deficiency, too much nitrogen, too much water, and too little water all can cause it. The last time I experienced it the cause was too much water. Since switching to one good watering per week I have not had it.

You are absolutely the deep water guru. We struggled from Carr’s to Piney. Never did find a pattern.

It is the 3600 size. No boxes included. It has lots of storage pockets; front, back, sides, flap. All zippers and velcro work. I used it to carry bait making supplies when we camped. I will sell it for $15 plus whatever USPS charges to ship it.

Tomatoes from the store taste more like cardboard than tomatoes, plus they are $3 each. I eat from 1-5 tomatoes every day when we have the good ones.

I had 3 last week. I noticed one this morning that will be ripe tomorrow or Thursday.
