Inflatables must be worn at all times.
I drilled a hole in it this morning. It is down and stays down. I will find out Monday whether or not it was a good idea. There was a sizable blast of air when the bit broke through.
It comes up by itself. I don’t need it to be extended but can’t find any way to adjust it. Is there something that I am overlooking?
I’m thinking about drilling a hole and letting the gas out or drilling and pinning the shaft. My problem is where to drill.
I bought an Aqua view a few years ago. It cost over $600 which I thought would make it a nice piece of equipment. All it did was frustrate me. I gave it to the kids to use on their boat dock at CP.
My wife and I had the education to work in most states. We did a lot of traveling and looking around at living and job opportunities. We kept coming back to SWMO. The closest to getting us to move was Indiana not far from Louisville KY.
You might want to do a weather check before you go. It gets windy down there in October. Wind direction may be a determining factor for you depending on your boat size and quarry.
I already have spare Curados setting around. I don’t need any more. I service all of my reels except these DCs. I’m just a bit anxious about tearing into them. They aren’t dirty and probably only need a tad of oil on the spool and shaft bearings.
I have a couple of guys that I have sent reels to in the past but there was a significant amount of down time. I’m hoping for someone drivable, take them, then go back in a few days and get them not wait weeks like in the past.
I’m in the process of cleaning reels for fall. I cleaned and oiled 6 of my Curados but have 2 Curado DC reels. I’ve never taken them apart and would rather not. I don’t want to send them off and be without them for a month.. Do any of you know a close reel tech?
When we drove over the Kimberling City bridge yesterday. My wife looked to the right and started counting boats. She saw 27. There were probably that many on the other side. But later in the day we crossed the Shell Knob bridge and she only saw 7. Our kids are at their lake house and haven’t even taken their tritoon out of the dock.
I damaged some of my Z20 decals up in Sons Creek. I decided to replace them. They were incredibly high priced but I decided to get them anyway. They weren’t in stock so they had to be ordered from the warehouse on the north side of town. I wasn’t allowed to go pick them up.
I was told it would take a week or so for them to be shipped to the store. They would be processed and shipped to the service center. They would then be shipped to me at a cost of $19. Time went by and no decals. Yesterday I got a text from a guy a couple of hundred miles away saying he had my decals.
I contacted the service center. A guy looked it up and called me back. It seems that the guy who got my decals has the same last name. So I guess a careless shipping clerk did not read the order very carefully. I feel a bit better now that I have thrown the monkey.
If you are interested in baby brush hogs, I make them and have some left over from working with high school fishing teams. I also have several 2/0 ewg worm hooks. If you want more info send me a pm.
