I plan to put a 1000 Shimano Symmetry on it. I have some not working for a living right now. I haven’t made a line decision yet I am thinking 8# fluorocarbon. I think any wind and braid would drive me nuts.

I had to go to BPS today for some trebles and looked at the long rods again. I wound up getting the 12’ crappie max pro. It looks like I may get to go in a few days.

Most is powder paint baked on and some is permanent markers. Everything is coated with clear Gorilla 2 part epoxy. -
But they have been fun to paint. I ordered more tail fins so I can replace the upside down ones. I also have to get some treble hooks.

I just went to the garage to paint some jigging minnows. The thermometer on the north wall shows 48°. It has never been below 50° in there before. However, it is 86° in the sun room where the wood stove is located.

Sometimes I wish I had a yote in the back yard to deal with all of the neighborhood cats that seem to be free ranging.

I just ordered another 10 and asked for extra fins. Probably be mid to late next week.

I may have them upside down. I was struggling with the glue and getting a bit perturbed. I tried them both ways and they seemed to fit better the way I put them on. I’ll try the other way next time and see how it goes.

When I put wood on the stove at 5 and it was 37°. Now at 6:30 it is 22°.

I have only been in them for a day with a friend. At the end of the day I didn’t have a back ache from fishing for the first time in over twenty years. -
You are the new brown fish guru. I’m too much of a sissy to have gone yesterday. I just brought in about a hundred sticks of wood and got the snowblower out.
