  1. I had planned to go until I checked the wind. I decided to wait until next week.
  2. There is no statute of limitations on Jimson Weed hallucinations.
  3. I went to Walmart and got some new bs cards. I’m playing 2 on this. I drove a bread truck for two different companies and they were governed at 40 mph. Unless the police were riding bicycles there is no way you could out run them.
  4. That’s called hiring a hooker.
  5. That’s what is keeping me at the rock right now.
  6. Is anybody else playing the bs card here?
  7. Sounds like a nice trip, but you are supposed to be locating green and brown fish at Stockton.😇
  8. So far so good. We haven’t seen any sign of them down in Stone County yet.
  9. I don’t know about the Helix units but there is a program that you can download called Humminbird pc. It may be what you need.
  10. I agree, but do you know any stupid people who don’t have at least one?
  11. He didn’t need one. We were living in the country in northern Stone County. The front door didn’t even have a lock.
  12. I quit sleeping with a gun after I nearly shot one of my wife's young cousins. He was drunk and came walking unannounced into our house. He was met with a loaded and cocked revolver. Two things happened that night: 1. He sobered up really quick. 2. I decided that I had come too close to taking a life, albeit a stupid one.

    What's Cooking?

I could go for some of that beef. We are having roasted lamb loin chops with vegetables. The lamb has been marinating for a while so it should be good.
  15. For that amount you can have a custom rod built just the way you want it. I have a rod that was built by the former owners of Ark Rod. It is a great rod and I wanted a second one so I took it to my rod guy so he could try to get one similar. The custom rod is way better than the original one.
  16. Massachusetts banned lead sinkers and jigs several years ago. I don’t know about computers and stuff.
  17. I don’t have a dog in this fight. I just remember that several years ago at De Soto bend they had so much trouble that they prohibited lead shot.
  18. Did you buy that $4 baby or cut and paste a pic? I’ve seen some vids of them but you are the first person that I know of who has shown one.
  19. I waited too long to get the snow blower out. The drive is wet under the snow and the snow is so wet the blower can’t throw it out. It looks like Mother Nature is going to be in charge.
  20. I thought that was Bo’s company. Who’s running it now?
  21. My link says at 2:22 pm yesterday you had a total of 6.5”. I don’t have a newer figure. Be safe on your trip.
  22. Pretty fish. Thanks for the craw description. I’ve been wondering what they look like now. I think I will make up a few for next week. I hope they look the same on the Rock.
  23. Ice is not my friend. A few years ago I stepped out the back door to take some recycling to the bin. There was ice I did not see. My feet went higher than my head and I landed on a concrete step with my ribs. I broke 3 ribs and ruptured my right lung. That took a trip to the hospital and a knife wound to let all of the lung gore shoot out. The ribs didn't heal properly.
  24. Across the road from our farm house, we have a creek bottom hay field. Beyond that is the creek and a lot of timbered hills. Almost every day 30 to 50 turkeys and 5 to 10 deer are showing up and feed in the field. Calves are wintered there and the turkeys spend a lot of time turning over cow pies. When spring comes they disappear and stay gone until the following late fall. They do this every year. I guess the turkeys fly over and the deer swim the creek and jump the fence. During hunting season they never show up. BTW great pic.
  25. The roads are getting slick here. One car supposedly flipped on 60 hwy just east of Republic.
