The roads are getting slick here. One car supposedly flipped on 60 hwy just east of Republic.

Snow shoveling lessons. I have a long wide drive and can accommodate at least a half dozen students. I will teach you several of the techniques that I have used over the years. I only have one scoop shovel so you will have to furnish your own. PM for time and location. If we have too many students, some of my neighbors may allow us to use their driveways.😂

I haven't moved my generator to the house yet but all other systems are go. As well as putting 80 sticks of wood in the garage and half a cord in the camper shed behind the house.

Down here in Perdido Bay I have seen several surf casters. They say red fish are the prey. Most get close to the water, cast the bait and let line out as they walk back to their rod holders. One guy hooks his bait to a drone has it fly the bait where he wants it and has the drone drop it. He is way beyond the casters.

I don’t know anything about tying flies but I USED to be an exclusive Mustad user until they moved to China and I started getting substandard hooks. Eagle claw has made significant progress and they now get my business. -

A friend of mine used to catch trout from there that you guys wouldn’t believe. He used live craws on a 3/0 hook with 20# mono and floated them down under root wads. He said that was where the big ones tended to hang out. I’ve seen several in his freezer so I don’t doubt his word. -

It was a 2002 225 that I bought from Charlie Luna when he switched Cobras to 2003 models. I put it on a new non current Champion 206 because I had sold the 225 EFI that came on it with a Cobra fish and ski. I traded the whole rig for a 2016 Nitro Z20 with a 250 Verado. It is in its 6 th year of service.

I got 14 years out of my Optimax and it was going strong when I traded it off. Yearly maintenance and a couple of upper oil tanks was all I had to have done to it.

Planned obsolescence is the way we do things now days in the USA.

Earlier would be better for me. I have to get up early Monday morning and drive to Tulsa then turn around and head for Perdido Bay.

I bought a Danvice over 20 years ago. I have tied thousands of jigs with it and it is as good as the day I bought it.
