I already did that when the Lew’s store closed. I emptied the shelf on some of the baits that I use a lot. I tend to be overstock.com on too many things.
I hate to clean fish. Luckily I have a friend who will clean them on the halves. So when I save whites he gets half of them and I get cleaned frozen fillets.
I went through a similar deal with Interstates. I went to Marine Repair Center and bought 3 Pro Guide agm batteries. They have 245 rc. I have been using them for a few months. They are super strong and are recharging in just a couple of hours. I am totally satisfied with them.
Did you buy the boat locally? Can you get the original owner to get it warrantied? Maybe you could sell the one that is new.....just some random thoughts.
Oh yes oh yes. And you would have owned that prop whether you wanted it or not.
You might call some marine dealers. Some of them have props. We used to have at least 3 dozen laying around.
We probably can work something out. Most of them haven’t been wet. I bought them when a bud got sick and couldn’t cast. I thought we could do some trolling. Alas, his illness turned out to be lung cancer and he didn’t make it. I will send you a pm.
I haven’t been in the last few days but your results are about the same as mine. I have only found mostly spots. I have had some lmb but slim keepers that must be males. Shaky is all that I have caught them on. I can’t buy a bite deeper than 10’.
What do you do with baits you don’t need anymore?
I have an assortment of baits that I don’t need or use. Do you guys sell them or donate them to a youth organization?
I found a good deal on Avids one time and bought 4. They are all 6.5’ medium. I kept one for myself and gave the other 3 away. I use mine primarily for tubes with 10# fluorocarbon line.
Yes I know a couple of guys, Scott and Brad at Marine Repair Center at Division and National in Springfield. 417-833-9191
They usually can get you scheduled within a week or so. They do all of my electronics work.
I wasn’t even considering the lumber costs. My raised beds are cedar which we have in copious amounts. We are working on a deal to get them milled on a percentage basis.
